Conner’s house is for sale in Gilbert btw. Even though he’s restructured, Love is the new back. I can only hope.
Lots of reasons dudes sell real estate.

I do think he gets cut before the season...but dude could also just be preparing financially for the inevitable pay cut whenever his career comes to an end. CBS doesn't pay as well as NFL...
Or the market is good and he is gonna turn a huge profit...
Or maybe his MiL is moving in and he needs a spot with a split floorplan

This is my stick and pick, no trade draft.

3. Arvell Reese. Too much noise from scouts to think that Reese wouldn't be the pick. I've seen a number of scouting services rank him as the best player in the draft. While he has had limited time at Edge, his snaps there have been electric. He's an elite athlete, a high character guy and a chess piece for the defense.

34. Chase Bisontis. Instantly stabilizes the interior offensive line. Bisontis offers elite SEC pedigree and high-end technical refinement, having allowed only two sacks over his final two seasons at Texas A&M He has 94th-percentile speed and positional versatility, experience at both tackle and guard, and is an ideal fit for Mike LaFleur’s movement-heavy zone scheme. I'd bet $100 Bisontis becomes a really good NFL guard in the next few years barring injury.

65. Caleb Tiernan. Drafting Caleb Tiernan at No. 65 provides the Arizona Cardinals with an elite, battle-tested pass protector to bookend their offensive line alongside Paris Johnson Jr. As a four-year starter at Northwestern with nearly 3,000 career snaps, Tiernan brings rare technical polish to the tackle position, highlighted by a final collegiate season where he allowed zero sacks in eight of his nine conference games. His 35.5-inch vertical jump—a 99th-percentile mark among tackles—demonstrates the explosive lower-body power necessary to excel in Mike LaFleur’s zone-blocking scheme. The Cardinals gain a high-IQ OT with the athletic profile and Big Ten pedigree to compete for a starting role immediately.

104. Brenen Thompson. The idea of drafting Thompson is to inject world-class, track-verified speed into Mike LaFleur’s offense. Thompson is a premier "field-stretcher" who clocked an official 4.26-second 40-yard dash at the 2026 NFL Combine—the fastest of the event and the third-fastest by a wide receiver in over 20 years. Coming off a record-breaking 2025 season at Mississippi State where he led the SEC with 1,054 receiving yards and averaged 18.5 yards per catch, he offers immediate vertical gravity to open the intermediate field for Trey McBride and the Cardinals big receivers. Thompson is really just a sub package guy, but the team needs speed and speed is a premium.

143. Harold Perkins Jr.. Drafting Perkins provides the Arizona Cardinals with an elite, versatile defender with elite speed for a 5th round pick. Despite a 2024 ACL injury, Perkins proved his top-tier athleticism at the combine and Pro Day, with a 4.38-second 40 and recording a 35-inch vertical jump. Standing at 6'0⅝" and 220 lbs, his Combine measurement including a 10'4" broad jump and 77¼" wingspan highlight a twitchy, sideline-to-sideline playmaker. While slightly undersized for a traditional stack linebacker, his 17 career collegiate sacks and 5 interceptions demonstrate his high-end utility as a situational pass rusher and sub-package coverage specialist.

183. Adam Randall. At 183, Randall is a bit of a projection because he moved to RB his last season in college. Randall provides a rare blend of size (6'3, 230) and speed (4.5 40, 37 inch vert) in a developmental power back. A former wide receiver who transitioned to running back in 2025, Randall immediately became a force at Clemson, recording 1,281 all-purpose yards and 13 total touchdowns. His receiving background makes him an elite natural threat out of the backfield, while speed allows him to pull away from second-level defenders.

217. Carson Beck. I toy with idea of drafting a QB this year and I think you either go with Simpson, late round 1 or early round 2, or you wait to see if a guy with some potential falls. Beck obviously has a ton of experience, and while his tape is uneven, He had had quite a bit of success in college and fits the prototype pocket passer mold. I have a buddy who plays college football and he knows people in the Miami program (my buddy is close friends with Mendoza) and he said that people have told him that Beck is a weird guy LOL.

What I like about this draft is that the Cardinals add a high end piece to the defense and some quality OL to build around. Adding Perkins later gives the team a potential stud at LB. While I want a RB, the Cardinals room is filled with competent players and Randall wouldn't be relief upon immediately and could continue learning the position.

Another Mock with the Cardinals trading with the Cowboys.

I would be very happy with the outcome though:

Pick
12
:newcards:
Arizona Cardinals

Francis Mauigoa
Miami · OT · Junior
PROJECTED TRADE WITH COWBOYS

Mauigoa’s frequently mocked to the Cardinals -- at No. 3 overall. If Arizona is able to select the first offensive tackle after turning one first-rounder into two, Monti Ossenfort will be one happy general manager. Especially if the move ultimately puts him in position to throw the bonus pick at the franchise’s biggest need

20
:newcards:
Arizona Cardinals

Ty Simpson
Alabama · QB · Junior (RS)
PROJECTED TRADE WITH COWBOYS (THIS PICK VIA PACKERS)

Receiving an invitation to the draft does not guarantee first-round selection. But that doesn’t stop us from annually speculating about the league’s thinking in compiling the guest list. Widely considered this class’ QB2, Simpson was just revealed as one of the 16 players who will be in Pittsburgh later this month. Mike LaFleur had some nice things to say about the team’s combine meeting with the Alabama quarterback, while rightfully underscoring that the time-limited encounter lasted all of 18 minutes. In this simulation, the Cardinals’ new head coach gets some fresh blood at the game’s most important position, possibly spoiling a Pittsburgh plan to select Simpson at No. 21.

In this mock, I drafted Tiernan to move him to guard.

I like the outcome of this one…

Actually kind of like this draft.

Fano is probably underrated on this board. Thieneman is a really good player. Howell brings some serious bits of the edge

My all Caleb/Kaleb draft (I used ChatGPT):

Arizona Cardinals 2026 Mock Draft (Caleb/Kaleb ONLY Challenge)

GM: Monti Ossenfort style | Constraints applied

Rules:

  • Only draft players named Caleb/Kaleb
  • Trade down once (#3 → #12 & #20 with Dallas)
  • No more trades unless it’s an absurd reach

TRADE:

ARI sends #3 → DAL
ARI receives #12 + #20

Round 1

#12 – Caleb Downs (S, Ohio State)

Elite talent. Only true blue-chip Caleb in the class. Immediate impact starter and defensive leader.

#20 – Caleb Lomu (OT, Utah)

Premium position. Solid value at this range. Protects Kyler and strengthens OL.

Round 2

#35 – Caleb Banks (DT, Florida)

High probability available. Fills trench need. Strong value pick.

Round 3

#66 – TRADED for 2027 3rd

No Caleb/Kaleb worth the slot → avoid reach, bank future value.

#71 – Caleb Tiernan (OT, Northwestern)

Developmental OL depth. High availability, low-risk pick.

Day 3
Round 4–5 – Caleb Douglas (WR, Texas Tech)

Big-bodied WR, red-zone upside. Developmental piece.

Round 5–6 – Kaleb Elarms-Orr (LB, TCU)

Athletic LB, special teams floor.

Round 6–7 – Kaleb Proctor (DL, SE Louisiana)

Late-round flyer, rotational upside.

I mean but why now? He got a two year extension. Hes secured for at least two years. I found found it odd he did it right before the draft. I take it as MLF is aligning the stars for Love.

I tried the A to Z mock draft but only choose to do 5 rounds.

I like...but I would have swapped the positions between 34 and 65...we can get a solid run stuffing DT to develop his pocket pressure from round 3..but we need an OT that can start on day 1,...and we are not likely to get him with any pick other than 3 or 34 from this draft....while I think Tiernan will develop into a starter, I see that as 2 or 3 years down the road for him.

Yeah...best OT available at 34...best DT available at 65, and I am all in on that draft.

well, as I said before...Im pretty sure he will be cut before the season. The new deal likely makes it easier for the team to do that while rewarding him for being a strong team player in his time here.
He might be selling it in anticipation of leaving Arizona...but I was just pointing out that there are lots of reasons why a guy would make a financial decision.
it could be something as simple as,...he does not live near the school he wants his kids to attend. so it could be as simple as he is moving to make it more convenient for his ol'lady to get the kids to school every morning. Phoenix traffic is a bitch.

DeCosta said that when he evaluates the overall talent level available this year, he sees a strong first half of the first round, but a weaker second half.

“First round, there’s definitely a drop off probably midway through the round in terms of talent,” DeCosta said.

DeCosta said the overall talent level this year is “a little less than last year.”

“We have just under 200 players that we have ranked as draftable for us,” DeCosta said. “If the board came off exactly the same way as we have it, we’d have to go outside of that to finish our draft because there’s over 250 picks.”
