I definitely see an issue with Mauigoa.Yeah…I see no issue with Bailey, Reese or Mauigoa at 3. Remember Wirfs went in the teens because he was a RT and projected better at OG.
I am curious about Mauigoa’s athletic scores. I think he will do well but if he doesn’t, that could change my opinion.I definitely see an issue with Mauigoa.
I don’t remember that criticism about Wirfs. I remember that he was a bit raw, but had elite athleticism for a OT.
Disagree. It’s a good WR class. A good EDGE class. A really good ILB and S class. Ok on the OL. TE is good.
What do you think you are getting at 20 that is less risky than at 3?

the kid from ASU is projected to go somewhere around pick 34...28-40 range...and local kids always sell tickets...big Mike has to be thinking about that angle. There are 3 players I'm highly confident they are going to be great in the league. In this order.
Love
Styles
Downs
I'm fine with any, but Love would have the biggest impact and be the most exciting from a fan perspective.
If we are going to sign Willis then Love would make his life easier, and we can get a tackle at the top of the 2nd that's very little drop off from the top guys imo.
Some Monti level word salad here.WR and Edge are heavy round the middle. Plenty of guys with traits but flaws. Top end talent is thin. Guys that will go high would go 10-15 spots lower most years.
The difference between 3 and 20 at a bunch of positions is going to be razor thin. There's going to be more instances of the 5th guy taken at a position turning out best than most years (probably).
One of the rare times where I genuinely agree with you. There are 3 players I'm highly confident they are going to be great in the league. In this order.

I think Mauigoa might be a really good, even great guard. As RT? Solid.I am confident in these players are going to be really good
J Love
D Bailey
F Mauigoa
I think these players can be really good but are a little riskier
Reese

I think both Bain and Downs will be good players but not as good as some think.
None of this gets into WR.
Tate is a better prospect than Egbuka. In fact, he is arguably a better prospect than Tet was last year.I'm not sure what was difficult to grasp about the premium positions lack top end talent but have a bunch of B and C guys.
Carnell Tate is being projected top 6, yet is a significantly worse prospect than Egbuka who went 19th last year.
Urlacher was perceived as a soft and overly large ILB when he was drafted. I get similar vibes from Styles. He has spent two seasons at ILB and has been primarily an ILB. He plays similarly soft like Urlacher but is a huge presence in the middle of the defense. He is a top 10 guy because he he has skills you can build a defense around. His change of direction numbers are good as well. The Styles suddenly going top 5 messaging is the height of combine stupidity.
.Really not a fan of Mauigoa not testing either when everyone else did.
He's not good enough to skip like some top prospects. I suspect his testing will be underwhelming.
Neither of these tackles are top 10 picks and there's a bunch os dudes that may be as good in the 2nd.
I really like Mad Max at ASU...dude already has game tape as good as any OT in the draft and he has only been playing football for 5 years....prototype thick RT but with hips and feet like a LT...I think the kid is going to be a pretty special player once he gets some quality NFL coaching...Really not a fan of Mauigoa not testing either when everyone else did.
