Well this is fun. The Athletic put out some #content today on "NFL offseason winners and losers".

Their winners were the Rams, Ravens, Browns, Cowboys, and Raiders.
Losers were the Jaguars, Cardinals, Packers, and Dolphins.
Lets allow our AI overlords to take this paragraph and re write it using positive adjectives instead of negative ones... Its all just perspective, and if you read something enough times, well, then its true, isnt it? Pundits suck.

"At 3-14, the Cardinals have established a clear baseline to build from, and they possess immense upside after this offseason. The team has injected intriguing potential into the coaching staff by placing an exciting bet on first-time head coach Mike LaFleur, who brings valuable play-calling experience from the Jets and successfully elevated his reputation by working under Sean McVay for three seasons with the Rams. LaFleur strategically hired Nathaniel Hackett as his offensive coordinator, drawing on Hackett’s extensive experience as a head coach with the Broncos and as a veteran offensive coordinator with the Jets.

Arizona moved forward from the talented Kyler Murray, choosing instead to focus resources outside of a high-priced quarterback upgrade. Veteran Jacoby Brissett, who gained invaluable starting experience with the Cardinals last season, returns after a focused offseason. Highlighting these calculated, foundation-building moves is rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, the explosive No. 3 pick in the draft, who represents a brilliant centerpiece for the team's bright future."

Reads even better if you read it in the voice of John Facenda with a bit of inspirational horns in the background.

I suspect Connor will not be on the opening day roster in 2026. He is old and now injury prone and should not be sitting on the bench behind Love and Allgier. Send him somewhere so he can contribute. He won't get more than 50-75 carries here.

Jacoby Brissett ranks 31st in
@PFF
's latest QB rankings.

"At 33 years old, Brissett is the definition of a bridge quarterback. He can provide solid play at the position, but he won’t win enough games to prevent his team from landing a top draft pick"

Trey McBride on QB Carson Beck:

"He's huge. He looks like a tight end. I'm like s—t, bigger than me, you know? But, no, he’s a stud. He throws the ball really well. I think he has a chance to be a really good player in this league"

Trey and Carson sitting in a tree
Losing to the NFC...
First runs Love
Then comes Harrison-iage
Then comes Kelce and Taylor in secret marriage

I know, it sucks. But it's past my bedtime.

The only way this season does not turn into a disaster is if all of of our rookies and 2nd year players play like stars.

Kind of like this year’s version of the St. Louis baseball cardinals.

Pray to the football gods my friends.
see i disagree...
I "Think"...if our defense can manage "Middle third" in the rankings...the arizona cardinals are flirting with the playoffs in January

im tossed up on it actually... I want to win...absolutely love it when this team gets on a win streak....but we wont have any kind of prolonged win streaks until we get a QB...and to do that we either need another high pick in next years draft...or Beck needs to actually be a starting caliber NFL QB...and all the geniuses here say he aint that...so we need to lose....but gooooood losing SUXX!!!!...the other alternative is to be satisfied being in NFL purgatory...win 9ish games every year..be just good enough to not get a top QB from the draft.... be that team flirting with a WC birth in week 18...hit it some yearrs,...miss it in others... and ho hum, maybe next year...
but we get a healthy does of wins every year...just none that really matter...

but...ya know,..just like every year we will start the season undefeated just like everyone else...and I will go into the season on my "feelings" believing we are going 20-0 until we get that first loss.....because im a sucker, lol, and I do this to have fun

Monti working to get out ahead of why a PJJ extension hasn't gotten done while they are sitting on 35 mil in cap space. I find this report very questionable.
you found it suspect when I reported it a few months back too.
but its straight from the horses mouth...PJJ said he wants to be the first $40mil a year LT in an interview...
in the end, I think they will compromise and structure the deal so he gets that $40mil per in one of the years...thenlike $36mil in the other years

@ASchatzNFL says BJ Ojulari is a "nonstarter to know" for the upcoming season:

"It's time for Ojulari to step up and fulfill the potential he showed as a second-round pick in 2023, when he had four sacks as a rookie before a 2024 knee injury knocked his career off track."
