Understood. Thanks for the legit response. They aren't but I am not willing to concede my expectations of them acting like one.
"A poverty mindset is a psychological framework rooted in scarcity, fear, and the belief that resources are limited, often causing individuals to feel trapped in lack, self-doubt, and risk aversion, regardless of their actual financial status. It acts as a survival mechanism developed from enduring poverty or trauma, frequently causing people to avoid necessary growth, opportunities, and change due to the fear of losing what little they have."

I disagree that I possess this mindset however in regards to the team. My viewpoint on them is not based on any fear of risk or running out of resources. But more a belief that one learns from history or is doomed to repeat it. as yourself and others have pointed out countless times in various darksider threads...rather the reason be some mystical curse or just repeated bumbling they just continue to make the wrong decision and when they make one that appears to be correct it invariably goes wrong....and with the obvious decline in play by so many rookies and even veteran players signed as FA..it is not wise to expect positive player development from anybody involved with the team right now.
we certainly had line development when Adams was here. yet even then it was obvious the o line was being developed more successfully than any other group.
so, in a weak draft why not bring in the guy in least need of development? To do otherwise is just repeating history and expecting success in an area they have shown none in recent history...and bringing in a rookie RB while paying him the 7th highest salary and the purely highest total financial guarantee is certainly not showing any fear of running out of resources.
