I am fine with the strategy of signing mid-priced players who play at a replacement level to fill holes -- and then relying on your draft to supply the impact players
but your replacement level players have to play at a replacement level
some of this was just bad luck -- Nichols and Jones just didnt miss games until they signed with the Cardinals, and then they missed nearly all of them
it would also help to have the draft produce some impact players as well
