3-14 with him, 3-14 without himI saw Bakers cap hit is over $19M in 2026, is the team really going to pay him that much? it’s the second largest hit behind Murray
Is there a trade market for him?

I'm not excited by hiring Morris![]()
Is Raheem Morris as Cardinals defensive coordinator a realistic outcome?
GLENDALE – Mike LaFleur becoming the Arizona Cardinals 44th head coach in franchise history appears to be a foregone conclusion. The 38-year-old Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator will be the four coach that has held that position to earn an NFL head coaching job: Kevin O’Connell, Liam Coen...www.yardbarker.com

seems most of his defenses rank right around middling...15 to 20 by all metrics...exceptionally average. the difference between 15 and 20 may have just been how many all pros he had on the roster that year.I'm not excited by hiring Morris
I don't remember him having dominant defenses on his teams
Anyone else with input?
Seems he doesn't excel at anythingseems most of his defenses rank right around middling...15 to 20 by all metrics...exceptionally average. the difference between 15 and 20 may have just been how many all pros he had on the roster that year.
Ya know...Morris has history on offense too...I might go against the grain...hire Morris to be OC, and see what shakes out.
Because he obviously does nor excel in defense.
If it’s LaFluer he is going to hire an OC that clearly is in line with the system he plans to run.seems most of his defenses rank right around middling...15 to 20 by all metrics...exceptionally average. the difference between 15 and 20 may have just been how many all pros he had on the roster that year.

Yes they should keep Budda. You are already going to let JT go (and they should), why eat 13 mil and create another hole on defense to save 5.3 mil?I saw Bakers cap hit is over $19M in 2026, is the team really going to pay him that much? it’s the second largest hit behind Murray

Across 17 starts, Campbell registered 6.5 sacks, nine tackles for loss, 16 QB hits and two passes defensed. He also blocked a field goal and extra point.
Ha! Sorry, but you don't keep aging talent that doesn't perform on gigantic contracts. If you can net a 5th or 6th rounder, make the trade, and get younger.@Stout channeling his inner Monti electing for cap space over talent. (I see your thumbs down on my post)
It could be argued that keeping Budda in the lineup is a gaping hole in itself.Yes they should keep Budda. You are already going to let JT go (and they should), why eat 13 mil and create another hole on defense to save 5.3 mil?
There is no trade market for Budda that gets you equitable return. You are just creating holes to create holes at that point.
You want to start the team turnaround with a S tandem of ??? and DTD who played in 12 games this season for a 5th round pick (which I don't think you would get) in a bad draft? How is that building a roster? Better to just keep him for 2026 and then cut him loose in 2027.Ha! Sorry, but you don't keep aging talent that doesn't perform on gigantic contracts. If you can net a 5th or 6th rounder, make the trade, and get younger.
That would be an incorrect argument. It could be argued that keeping Budda in the lineup is a gaping hole in itself.

Who is playing safety then? Only Kitan Crawford, Dadrion Taylor-Demerson and Joey Blount are left then. Jalen is a FA.Trade him as quick as we can and get off that salary cap
The 13 mil savings on a trade is a valid point that doesn't fit my argument so I don't accept it.Those numbers are accurate if he is cut but from what OTC shows if he is traded he saves $13million with $6 million in dead cap. Even for a mid-late round pick that seems pretty appealing in terms of saving.
Tony Jefferson reunion tour...and keep CC one more year for good measure.Who is playing safety then? Only Kitan Crawford, Dadrion Taylor-Demerson and Joey Blount are left then. Jalen is a FA.
Shedeur is a prime example that our safety being a PBer means jack squat lolThat would be an incorrect argument.
Guys out here advocating trading or releasing a pro bowl S like the team didn't just win 3 games in 2025. Shedeur out here shaking his head at all of you.
How dare you besmirch the hallowed designation of "Pro Bowler" in this way. Shame on you. Those 7 TDs didn't throw themselves. Also, "the best ability is availability" has never rung more true.Shedeur is a prime example that our safety being a PBer means jack squat lol
