Doubtful Harry we have a resident long time board member saying that zero work of any kind gets done during OTAs voluntary or mandatory and they really don’t matter. In fact there really is no need for any vet player to reallyThis may be a cautionary notice about how well the transition is going to DTD.

Even participate. So it’s highly doubtful that they were able to determine this from a buncha shorts practices that mean absolutely nothing. Right?

I disagree. Good DBs maintain a low passer rating allowed.I mean a QB who throws an INT in 70 passing attempts is what passer rating is meant to measure.
I don’t really trust DB charting data in general (you won’t find me citing it recently good or bad), but 3 INTs in 36 targets (which is around what Burke had) isn’t sustainable or probably predictive.
Garrett Williams’ Passer Rating Allowed went from the mid-70s when he was a part-time player to over 100 when he was playing full-time. I don’t think he suddenly became bad; I think the stat is unreliable.
Maybe completion percentage against is more predictive, but go to a passer rating calculator and see what happens when you plug in one more INT on a sample size of 50.
Are you checking the passer ratings allowed for top corners (confirmation bias) or are you looking at the lowest passer ratings allows for qualifying players?I disagree. Good DBs maintain a low passer rating allowed.
Jalen Ramsey has maintained a pretty damn good 81.8 average over his career. Patrick Surtain has maintained a 72.3. Pretty much matches the eyeball test.
Is Denzel Burke better than Jalen Ramsey?
