Oof that 2000 season was real bad for Sourhern Cal. 5-7 and Paul Hackett got fired. The following season was pretty mid also under Carroll, but they finished in a roll.Carson Palmer 28-17
He accomplished more at the college level for sure.Beck is significantly better than Tune.

Troy told me it was a nice change and momentum really picked up under Carrol though.Oof that 2000 season was real bad for Sourhern Cal. 5-7 and Paul Hackett got fired. The following season was pretty mid also under Carroll, but they finished in a roll.
Not saying its bad but players making more to stay in school than would in the NFL is rather strange to me definitely do not want it like NBA where high schoolers can declare also the way it's currently set up dont all the major schools have a massive advantage over smaller schools in that they can offer more money to playersWhy?? So they declare for the draft earlier?? I think the system is doing exactly what it was intended to do: keep guys in NCAA ball longer.
I don't even know what you are all a arguing about at this point.
Same brotherI don't even know what you are all an arguing about at this point.
I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, and I have NEVER been a Carson Beck fan. The very first time I ever saw his mug on TV, I had this insane urge to punch the TV set lol. But, based on the QB’s he’s seen in both SF & LA, and what type of QB he was looking for, maybe, just maybe Beck fits that skill set. But, I’ll be a wait and see about Beck. He just makes idiotic decisions. I fully expect that the Cardinals will go QB again next year unless they are CONVINCED that Beck will fit our system like a glove. But, let’s never forget If it doesn’t fit, you gotta acquit lol. There's dozens of bad QBs in college you can say this about. It's a different game, with far greater roster and talent disparity between teams than the NFL.
There are lots of really bad QBs that were awful in the NFL or never even made it that won lots of games in college and played in massive games.
The fact that we are talking about how many games he played and won and not anything at all about his talent really says it all.
Why you laughing?Troy told me it was a nice change and momentum really picked up under Carrol though.
I thought you we’re making a quipWhy you laughing?
Seriously. He’s not even our QBOTF.I don't even know what you are all an arguing about at this point.
