ie Josh Allen, Pat Mahomes, Brock Purdy, Dak Prescott, Jared Goff, Caleb Williams, Kirk Cousins, Tyler Shough, Jayden Daniels, Lamar Jackson, and Drake Maye.

(Not saying there aren't examples of players from good programs, but these guys can't be ignored)
Josh Allen 16-11 College Record
Pat Mahomes 13-19
Brock Purdy 31-17
Dak Prescott 32-17
Jared Goff 14-23
Caleb Williams 27-10
Kirk Cousins 28-15
Tyler Shough 28-14

Should I keep going? 6 out of the first 8 were winners in college.

Buddy do you misunderstand the criteria for being a winner in college.

Only Williams qualifies as being a winner from that list, probably. Compare those numbers to Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, and Joe Burrow.

"have lots of experience in losing programs."

You said losing programs ie programs that are normally not good. You didn't say QB with losing records in college. That would be different.

Oof that 2000 season was real bad for Sourhern Cal. 5-7 and Paul Hackett got fired. The following season was pretty mid also under Carroll, but they finished in a roll.
Troy told me it was a nice change and momentum really picked up under Carrol though.

Why?? So they declare for the draft earlier?? I think the system is doing exactly what it was intended to do: keep guys in NCAA ball longer.
Not saying its bad but players making more to stay in school than would in the NFL is rather strange to me definitely do not want it like NBA where high schoolers can declare also the way it's currently set up dont all the major schools have a massive advantage over smaller schools in that they can offer more money to players

There's dozens of bad QBs in college you can say this about. It's a different game, with far greater roster and talent disparity between teams than the NFL.

There are lots of really bad QBs that were awful in the NFL or never even made it that won lots of games in college and played in massive games.

The fact that we are talking about how many games he played and won and not anything at all about his talent really says it all.
I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, and I have NEVER been a Carson Beck fan. The very first time I ever saw his mug on TV, I had this insane urge to punch the TV set lol. But, based on the QB’s he’s seen in both SF & LA, and what type of QB he was looking for, maybe, just maybe Beck fits that skill set. But, I’ll be a wait and see about Beck. He just makes idiotic decisions. I fully expect that the Cardinals will go QB again next year unless they are CONVINCED that Beck will fit our system like a glove. But, let’s never forget If it doesn’t fit, you gotta acquit lol.

In my opinion the best thing for this franchise is for Beck to be the guy and we still end up with a top 2 picks for 2027 so we can trade with someone for two first rounders.

My thinking---We have two backups signed that were originally signed as backups. As well as JB played for us last year (and I like him), he is still our backup qb.
We drafted a decent qb with good college numbers and experience, presumably to be our qb this year.
If he shows anything in camp and preseason, then you start him from the get go.
