Gambo is saying Suns are done for the day.

Good grief what a let down.
Yeah, doesn't inspire very much. I'm not surprised. I guess we'll probably be bringing Tyrus Jones and Mason Plumlee back again, too, since the FO now seems obsessed with filling up the roster with Duke players. It's like the auto love we used to have for Kentucky guys.

There should be point guards available at #52 and #59 if the Suns want to go that direction.

I still like Collin Gillespie and think Washington Jr. has upside.

I'm 90% certain Tyus ain't coming back. Pretty sure he didn't enjoy playing here.

I spaced that Williams was a Duke guy also. I like that considering he and Maluach are playing the same role here. I will give it another signing before I start questioning the Duke infatuation. At least it's not Michigan State.

Really interested to see how Walter Clayton does in the NBA?

Before the combine I thought his best comp was a smaller Klay Thompson but he only measured 6'2" almost 4 full inches shorter than Klay measured at his combine.

Still think he can play but my comp has switched to Desmond Bane?

Jakucionis finally goes. I did a liitle googling apparently NBA scouts were concerned about his turnovers and felt he struggled finishing at the rim because he wasn't strong enough.

Saw him play a few times last year really liked his game.

Which makes it all that much scarier that he has only played 43,19,and 44 games.
Understandable...but I also see a lot of potential in the deal.
He could end up being a very nice bargaining chip in a year while also affording the team an opportunity to develop Maluach.

I'm very much a fan of giving this new coaching staff young talent to work with during this transition

Well, we will find out who we missed out on with the Williams trade in a few more picks.

How so? They got a pretty good pick at #10, and you weren't going to get much better at #29 than Mark Williams.
I was hoping for another first and a trade of either Beal or Grayson or both. We need more young players.

Those are G-leaguers at that point in the draft.

We should have found a way to get into the 20's and taken Newell or Flemming.

Like it or not Book will be the PG most of the time, Gillespie will probably be his backup.

Me, too. This present roster is a mess, and was hoping we would get a little more resolution tonight, instead of just adding two guys who play the same position and are both largely question marks next season.

Wolf lasted longer than I expected. I think the Suns might have regretted the Williams trade if he had lasted until 29.

Joe Dumars traded for Jordan Poole who is paired now with rookie PG Jeremiah Fears. He also traded their unprotected 1st next year just to move up 10 spots this year. They’re a bottom 5 team in the west with no pick next year and still planning to build around Zion. Not sure how he got a GM job after being out of the league for 15 years.

I was surprised to hear he was a GM again because he was in the league office last I heard.

Those are textbook Pelican trades though. They're a cursed franchise.

I woke up even more excited about the potential with Maluach.

I also like that his frame compliments his height. He doesn't look like he has to grow into his body if that makes sense.

Also seems that he has a good foundation to work with on expanding his offensive game from the gate.

We may have easily got the gem of the draft.
