Has there been any changes in our scouts with the new coaching regime brought in?
We've had a little hope recently with Camara and Dunn being targeted with late picks

Also does anyone have any thoughts on PG Ben Saraf? I won't say I've done any extensive research but I saw him mocked to us on tankathon and became intrigued rather quickly.

Saraf is certainly interesting, but I don't know much about the level of competition.

The Suns have made it clear: they’re targeting size, power forwards and centers, at 29, and looking for guard or wing depth at 52. So yes, Nembhard’s name being in the mix isn’t just smoke
Getting the lesser brother would be on brand.

At #52 he might be worth the pick. I'm not sure if the Suns plan to keep TyTy Washington and Collin Gillespie.

They would likely be backup point guards as well.

I can't wait to see what future All NBA shooting guard we're going to pass on at 10 to draft a position of need/desperation.

The Suns work out Danny Wolf PF/C who could potentially be a lottery pick.

If this guy had "state" added to his jersey, we'd probably trade up for him and put him in charge of player development... but we ain't got time for no wolverines.

What intrigues me is the Suns getting those 5 second round picks in the Durant trade. Only one of them is in this draft at 59.

I've heard they chose it over another first round pick. Yeah, I know, it's hard to believe, but one of the reasons to have multiple second round picks is to move around in the draft or to sweeten a trade.

It's interesting to note, the Nets have 4 first round picks in the first round, 8, 19, 26, 27 and 36 in the second round. It's hard to believe they are going to draft that many players.

This guy is 7-footer?

He looks like Jokic who moves like a guard. There's got to be a catch. His release is a little slow, no real defensive highlights, but he seems to have some speed and athleticism (for a 7 foot/ 250-ish lb dude.)

Walter Clayton, point guard Florida, has had multiple pre-draft workouts for the Heat.

Some in the media had liked him for the Suns later in the draft.

"I keep hearing rumblings that the Thunder are trying to move up (in the draft). They have 15, 24, 44. They could package all three of those picks, look to move up 4 or 5 slots, maybe 6 to Toronto...I think they're gonna be ready on Wednesday"
Don't know how true that is, but feels like a great opportunity.

And the Nets have four first round picks plus an early second.

Since there seems to be very little delineation in player tiers after the first couple picks, I'd really like the Suns to move down with OKC who has 15 and 24 or Atlanta who has 13 and 22. Moving back from 10, but up from 29 and maybe picking up another asset seems like a good idea. OKC has 44 as well.

Maybe if they are desperate enough to get a guy at 10 we wouldn't have to even give up the 29.

The Suns should be able to pick up a later first round pick by moving down and keep 29.

You are right, there are not clear tiers in this draft. There is value to be gained by moving down.

That’s a bummer. I hoped to nab him with 29

I would t give up the 29. And I’m skeptical dropping from 10 at all.

I like johni broome at 52. Maybe move up a few spots to grab him.

i never get this - the are absolutely players that are better than other players after the first couple picks - after the first 5 picks - after the first 10 picks and so on - it's all about knowing who those players are

And seeing the future. Sure, you can evaluate them to the best of your ability but there is no way to know for sure. Just look at every draft ever. There are busts and there are finds. It's like the stock market. No analyst is picking 100% over time.
