Frankly it worries me when a coach says his team knows what it has to do to win, but has been unable to do that. His indication is that his observation is true in both play and coaching. Hearing that observation one or two times would be concerning. After this many games it’s beyond acceptability. What would convince me that anything that hasn’t been tried would be an available, recognized option for this coaching staff? If the staff cannot generate execution by now what timeline could possibly exist to provide assurance it will eventually happen. I know in some ways Murray has been the fall guy for this situation. I do believe he is part of the problem. However, clearly the issues extend well beyond Murray. One of the leagues more heavily invested defenses has also lacked crucial effectiveness. Execution is not a GM function; it’s the main function of coaching, coupled with design. This staff clearly lacks in virtually every area.

i feel like the Cards D vs the Rams either works great, or, not at all

with the way the Cards protect on O, this could get ugly if the D doesnt hold the score down
