its a tough position to be in. The G spot is hard to find for some GM's... I guess we will learn a lot about Monti soon.
On the other hand... Jon Gaines showed up as an OG...and was moved to backup Center... technically speaking Center is a tougher position. He may be able to compete for that spot.
It could also benefit us to have Jones play guard. If he has the talent its better to have him playing out of position than riding the pine while a less talented guy gets the reps. we can always kick him out if there is an injury then put the less talented guy in to replace him.
