Post-Draft Analysis
General Manager Monti Ossenfort isn't messing around with the way he's building his defensive front. After signing free agents Josh Sweat and Calais Campbell, he drafted Walter Nolen in the first round and now gets Burch in the third. Burch is the best available edge and his ability to play anywhere along the front makes him a great player for defensive coordinator Nick Rallis -- Muench

I thought there were some real good WR here. Even better EDGE players. But, this is who they picked.
K1 might be playing to keep his job this season. I think he much rather have team sign some veteran offense help instead of waiting for more rookies to come along tbh

I’m want you to come up to Reno and we can put a bunch of futures bets down together. Because you’re starting to get me over to the dark side with this pick. I’m just flabbergasted that they went dline again.

I’ll be honest- I wish monti was aggressive and had moved up 7 spots in the 3rd round to snag Jackson. Just do not know much about this guy so tough to get excited about this one

i wanted offense too but it's obvious monti wants to murder quarterbacks - probably already has a wall set up - taxidermist on stand by because wtf - we have like 700 pass rushers all the sudden - edge-izona cardinals - eagle spin off galore holy hell batman what is going on with this football team - not gonna lie i kinda have a fear ***** - we're not going to give the opponent their most valuable commodity... time

Right!! I am stupid excited to see a pash rush for the first time since Bertrand Berry.

BUT, Marv needs someone on the other side.

the idea
Someone is gonna have to use a crayon for me and tell me how all these guys are going to see the field at the same time. Ojulari, Robinson, Sweat now Burch
is to rotate everyone in and out. if I am playing the Cardinals, I am running no huddle all game and not letting them substitute.

In his final rankings before the 2025 NFL Draft, Dane Brugler ranked Princely Umanmielen as the No. 57 overall player.

And we get the 10 ranked Edge 1 pick later, oof

Hope this guy is the real thing or we just brought in another Edge to cut after preseason
