The 2026 league year is coming up very soon. It officially begins at 1 p.m. Arizona time on March 11, with the legal negotiating period beginning on March 9 at 9 a.m. Arizona time.
The Arizona Cardinals have several roster decisions to make before then.
Leading up to the new league year, we will profile every player on the roster, go over what they did last season, what their contract status is and what they face in 2026.
Next up is outside linebacker Jordan Burch.
A third-round draft pick, Burke played all 17 games with no starts while participating in 504 snaps (44 percent) and 242 special-teams snaps (53 percent). He had 21 tackles (four solo/one for loss), one sack, three passes defensed and a quarterback hit.
On the second year of a four-year contract, Burch will be paid $1.135 million with a salary-cap charge of $1.474 million.
Burch showed athleticism at times and the Cardinals hope he will take a strong jump in his second season given the return of outside linebackers coach Matt Feeney and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis.
