This aged well. :lmao:
No it didn’t age well.

There were a lot of people trashing Hump when he had Bruce Arians foot stuck up his butt.

This brings up a good question? One determines their opinion at a moment of time.

Maybe we should just let the water flow under the bridge. At the end of the day, we are just fans talking sh/t amongst ourselves.

If Tim was still of this opinion given what we know now, it would be okay to take him to the woodshed but I haven’t seen that have you?

Correction: not Buddy Ryan but Bruce Arians foot:)

drafts are 3-5-8 year exercises

its why i hate "it wasnt a need" kinda criticisms

go back 5 years and look at who the Cards should have taken at spots the draft, how it doesnt correspond to need at all, and how much better off they would have been

This aged okay. Me on 5/1/22
“Some on the board felt McBride was chosen because Williams may not be ready early on. McBride certainly offers insurance, but actually he brings much more. He could easily be lined up in the slot or even wide. He’s not a deep threat, but he is a solid possession receiver. His catch and yardage totals indicate he simply set up at a place the TE usually starts from. It’s more play design than skill set. It may have helped with him getting softer coverage. He only scored 1 TD, so he’s not a breakaway threat.

You’ll like his style. He’s not afraid to go over the middle and he’s very strong at 50/50 balls. He’s a solid route runner who rarely drops throws. I expect the Cards to use 2 TE sets featuring him just to cause coverage nightmares for their opponents. Since McBride has the ability to get separation quickly, time to throw will be less of an issue.”
