I see that the first practice open to the public is next Friday, July 30th. And the rookies report tomorrow, July 22nd. Two questions:
1. Will the rookies work on the field or just in classrooms?
2. Will the media attend workouts that are not open to the public?

I don't expect anything interesting to read from media even if they are allowed to practice when the pubblic isn't
I rely on the posters here who will attend the practice to have a much more competent opinion

jusa76, I see your point, but don't agree. I always like reading what they have to say/write. And I see them as competitors so there is no reason why they would hold something back and let a competitor announce it. Would I like more info? Absolutely, and that is why I appreciate the posters who attend. JMO.

IMO, actual writers, they will all just write 8 paragraph stories that are summer up with 2-3 tweets.

I am really interested to see how Marco Wilson, Tay Gowen and James Wiggins fit into the final roster. Depth at both positions is not great but there are multiple vets to compete with and Vance is Vance.
