As a veteran of three back surgeries, none of them are routine... including a microdiskectomy (which was my first at age 21). Just think of Howard. Had a micro... literally was never the same. At a relatively young age of 28 I think.
And sure Duds had I.T done... but his game isn’t exactly one of High impact. He was already slow as molassses. But Porter isn’t Duds.
And if you’re having one at 18... like I did... it’s not a good sign for things to come, especially playing a high impact sport. Sure... he’ll get the best medical attention money can buy, but he’s also going to be a guy who’s constantly running, jumping, falling to the ground, getting banged around.
