Good to see Addison Reed hasn't lost the magic touch.

Johnny with the complete game. KC just looks dialed in right now. Not going to be easy with three in a row at Citi.

That's the point! They don't play by the same rules for the majority of the season. Until the World Series.

A.L. teams play a DH specialist (or two in a platoon) all season long (based even more than position players on just their hitting skills). N.L. teams have to use a sub during the World Series to fill that position. That puts them at a disadvantage.

The end results of the last 10 WS show that the disadvantage you speculate is either not there or is simply not relevant. The NL has a 6-4 lead over the AL. Even if KC wins this WS the last 10 will still be 6-4 NL. So where does this disadvantage show up in the results?

And that is despite the AL having the majority of the "big spender" clubs.

Have a feeling Reed is going to be the losing pitcher in game 5. :)

Reed blows. Can't pitch when it really counts, not a pressure pitcher.

Reed just sucks and sucked the worst when it counted the most.

Congrats to KC!!!! No team was more deserving on this year's playoffs. I wonder if they can keep Cueto? If so, this team could be back next year.

I don't see them keeping Cueto, Zobrist or Alex Gordon. That said, they still have Hosmer, Perez, Cain, Moustakas and a lethal bulpen. They should stay competitive and still be in the playoff hunt next year.
