49ers-Broncos practice is done. Highly uneventful. Best plays came simultaneously: Bethea INT old Colts teammate Manning, Celek TD from Kap
With Ahmad Brooks excused from #49ers team activities, Aaron Lynch and Corey Lemonier line up at OLB with first-team defense.

The 49ers-Broncos practices are complete. Number of fights: zero. 49ers emerge with two injuries (Brock, Moody) both considered minor.
what ever happened to GoLimp? He always brought so much to the board!

49ers will place C Daniel Kilgore on PUP
Because he did not practice with the team during training camp, he was eligible to start the season on the PUP list. The move counts as a roster exemption as the team makes moves to get the roster down to 75 players from 89

https://www.profootballfocus.com/bl...first-round-rookie-has-played-this-preseason/San Francisco 49ers: Arik Armstead, DE (PFF Grade: -0.7)
He has been running with the backups in San Francisco and been getting an inordinate amount of game time, playing 27 snaps more than any other rookie at his position over three games. He was excellent against Dallas, but struggled against the Broncos and hasn’t yet been consistent in his play.
Yes.My first game I watched was the 49ers/Broncos Superbowl (1989?). First heart breaking moment in sports that I witnessed was the 1990 NFC title game. Pat Summerall making the call after the game that "there will be no 3 peat" still hurts. So Ronin, are you a big fan of the 49ers?
https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/09/03/top-10-rookies-of-preseason-so-far/Jaquiski Tartt, S, 49ers (4.3)
The 49ers have invested heavily in the secondary in recent seasons in both the draft and free agency, but it’s Tartt, a second-round pick out of Samford, who has been getting noticed this preseason. Tartt has graded positively in each of his three preseason games, making plays in both the run and pass game, and even has a hit on the quarterback to his name as a blitzer.

Expect most of the #49ers starters to join those players on the sideline.

SANTA CLARA -- The 49ers must make 22 transactions by Saturday at 1 p.m. to reach the 53-man limit. Here’s who they have let go so far:
* Craig Dahl, S. CSN Bay ARea reports that Dahl has been let go. The veteran was squeezed out at a position teeming with younger players such as Jimmie Ward, Jaquiski Tartt and L.J. McCray.
* Darnell Dockett, DT. The team released Dockett, 34, Friday morning. He was due to earn a $250,000 roster bonus next week. By releasing Dockett, however, the 49ers must absorb $2.5 million of his salary unless he is picked up by another team.
