Yeah I read that he could make up to five million dollars by signing with the Raiders. Too bad Crabtree never lived up to the potential that he showed at TT.

Report: 49ers to meet with Michigan’s Devin Funchess

Funchess' size is intriguing. He's 6-4, 232 pounds and has 33 1/2-inch arms. He ran his 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds at the combine -- good, not great, for someone his size -- but improved for his pro day, running it in about 4.5 seconds. He is believed to be a Day 2 - second- or third-round -- selection.

Not going to get to excited about this meeting but I'm intrigued.

The 49ers will meet with a number of draft prospects today, including potential first rounders like defensive lineman Arik Armstead and cornerback Marcus Peters. They have spent a lot of time on wide receivers, perhaps the strongest position group in the draft.

The 49ers schedule will be unveiled at 5 p.m. Tuesday, along with the rest of the league’s.

Home games will be against the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and the NFC West counterparts: the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams.

Away games will be at the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Seahawks, Cardinals and Rams.

I've got a strong feeling that the 49ers are going to draft Arik Armstead. I would rather have the 49ers draft Devante Parker or that dude that is having his draft stock falling because of injury. (Shane Ray?)

Waynes is 6-feet, 186 pounds; Peters is 6-feet, 197 pounds.

Other top cornerback prospects include Wake Forest’s Kevin Johnson (6-feet, 188 pounds) and Connecticut’s Byron Jones (6-1, 199).

So what, exactly, is a “big corner” in Baalke’s estimation?

“Anybody over 5-11, to us, is starting to get into the big corner range,” Baalke said. “What we’re trying to stay away from is 5-8 guys, 5-9 guys. And that’s not to say some of those guys can’t play and play at a very high level. If they’ve proven in this league that they can [play], they would be an exception to the rule, right?

Trade back from the 15th spot and pick one of these cornerbacks then....I wouldn't be opposed to that.
