Been a great tournament so far. Some really brilliant games.
Italy have looked really good and then really average in the same game.
Spain have turned it on when they finally played a striker.
Germany looked against the Netherlands.
The Dutch themselves need to pull something out tomorrow.
The Russians, at times, have looked bloody amazing.
England have looke scary at the back.
I'm hoping for a big Poland win tonight.

After their first game, I thought there would be no way in hell that Russia didn't advance.

Amazing that Greece and Czech Rep made it through. Gutting for the Poles, but they should have taken their chances.

I really thought the Czechs had a shot at this, after a back and forth, stop and start first half. Man, what a trouncing Portugal gave them after the break. Yeah, it was only 1-0, but it could have been 5 or 6. Final four for Portugal.

From what I've been hearing, most are now saying that CR7 is better than Messi now because of his performance at the Euros. Totally stunk it up against Denmark then scored two goals on a Dutch team that didn't even look like it belonged in the tournament. And now, today they are singing his praises because he dominated the game against the Czech Republic, off a header no less.

Maybe they missed Messi's hat trick against Brazil last week.

I got 7 of my 8 predictions right. Stupid Russia. For some reason, I knew that the Dutch would flounder. I didn't think they would go out with 0 points though. wow.

Who is saying that? I haven't heard one person try to claim Ronaldo is better.

Except for Ronaldo and his teammates for club and country.

CR is a great player but Messi is just on a different level.

Man, I felt so bad for Greece. They have so much heart and are so tough, but they simply ran into a great team today. They clawed back, kept getting counters going, and finally tied it up at 1-1. Within, what, 12 minutes, it was 3-1 Germany. Now that's a great team, getting the lead back so quickly.

The French went out with a listless performance.

These last 4 matches are all going to be good.

Man, has to be painful losing on penalties. I was rooting for you guys the whole way, but England just didn't have the punch.

Heart wrenching. They were even up 1 at one point.

I was rooting for them too. They would have won IMO if they had taken it to them. England's attack is underrated IMO.

I didn't see the game, but from what I've read, Italy dominated the game during normal time.

The first 10 minutes, England was very offensive. After that, Italy dominated.

And with that game going to penalties, UEFA has to be massively embarrassed with their gross mishandling of scheduling and off days between the quarters and the semis. Germany has twice as much time to rest and prepare as the exhausted and injury-riddled Italian team. I don't see Italy with a chance, just because of that.

I didnt think they had a chance if the situation is reversed. Germany wins 3-1.

Yeah, I completely agree with you though.

FTFY.

Only reason England made it out of group stage is because they got a break from the officials.

Italy ousts Germany. WOW

I'll go out on a limb and say Spain will easily win the tournament.
