I think you have forgotten - or ignore - what started this entire discussion. Chopper mentioned how he hopes that Ossenfort fails, and I don't understand that thinking. I mentioned that, and you and a couple of others started talking about expectations. I think that expectations and hope are two very different things.
I don't need to hope for Monti to fail...he is going to fail. Nothing with Monti has changed from the bad GM he has been to date. My hope is that when he does fail (again), Bidwill fires him like he should have this past offseason.

Know I'm in the minority, but going back to my radio days and listening to Sgt. Preston of the Yukon, I learned that the Monti's always got their man. And, I thought MO is well on his way to making us competitive in '26. I realize you never know how the Draft will turn out, but we know we need a RT, S, and Edge. And I hope, based on their Board, that is how/who we draft in the first three rounds. Of course that is subject to change as FA unfolds.
