The Denver Broncos wrapped up Day 10 of training camp on Tuesday with their second practice of the week. The session marked the team's final practice with fans in attendance before their preseason opener (Wednesday's session will be closed to the public).

Here are a few of the highlights from Tuesday's practice.

10. Sean Payton thinks Denver's 'fine' at center

Sean Payton said the Broncos will be “fine” and “good” at center despite the injuries.

“We’ll see” if they use Quinn Meinerz at center, but thinks they’ll have enough options.

— Zac Stevens (@ZacStevens) August 11, 2026

The team's top three centers are currently injured.

9. Reporter takeaways after Tuesday's practice

Biggest takeaways from Broncos training camp practice today:

-J.K. Dobbins practiced, participated in individual drills

-C Michael Deiter carted off the practice field

-Jaylen Waddle, Alex Forsyth, Michael Bandy, Caleb Lohner and Dasan McCullough did not practice

-Riley Moss…

8. Sam Ehlinger with 'absolute dime' in situational drill

An absolute dime from Sam Ehlinger to Kolbe Katsis in the back of the end zone. Heck of a throw.

— Parker Gabriel (@ParkerJGabriel) August 11, 2026

Sam Ehlinger just connected with Kolbe Katsis in traffic on 4th and 10 from the 25 yard line with 19’seconds left in MTB period.

Caught it over Reese Taylor for a TD to end practice

Nice play from the backup QB and undrafted WR.

The UDFA WR Kolbe Katsis with a nice catch in the back of the end zone from Sam Ehlinger as the second-team offense aces its 2-minute drill.

Defense got the upper hand when the first-team units squared off.

7. First-team defense holds in situational drill

Situation to end practice:

Broncos’ offense down 24-18 with 1:01 left. Ball at their own 48 yard line.

Bo Nix had four completions to move the offense to the 18 yard line.

But too many passes stayed in bounds.

2 seconds left, ball on the 18 and Bo throws it to a covered RJ…

4th and 10, 25-yd TD from Ehlinger to rookie Katsis, who makes Dwight Clark- like catch.

6. Riley Moss and Pat Bryant continue to impress

Riley Moss with a fantastic PBU. Riley was in smothering coverage on a crosser on Courtland Sutton. Ball was thrown slightly behind from Bo Nix and Moss got the PBU.

— Zac Stevens (@ZacStevens) August 11, 2026

Pat Bryant, who else, with a nifty catch for touchdown going across the end zone. Fans roar their approval.

— Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) August 11, 2026

Moss and Bryant have been two of the standouts of training camp.

Every camp update is either Bryant, Moss, or another center getting carted off https://t.co/izG86d1kDI

5. Broncos C Michael Deiter carted off field

Broncos center Micahel Deiter is being carted off the practice field.

Deiter are down three centers now, after injuries to Luke Wattenberg and Alex Forsyth earlier in camp.

Looks like extended work for Weber State’s Gavin Ortega on Friday in the first preseason game.

— Henry Chisholm (@HenryChisholm) August 11, 2026

Denver was already missing Luke Wattenberg and Alex Forsyth, so the team is very thin at center now.

4. TE Evan Engram got some reps at WR

Engram also did this at times in 2025.

3. Broncos QB Bo Nix looks healthy

Nix is moving around well. He seems to be fully recovered from January's ankle injury.

2. J.K. Dobbins back in pads

Great to see Dobbins back on the field after Monday's injury scare. He had a message for media members:

1. Broncos injury report: 5 players not in pads

— Parker Gabriel (@ParkerJGabriel) August 11, 2026

Working out on the side field: Waddle, Mims, Adkins, Palczewski, Bandy, Wattenberg, McCullough, Gargiulo (PUP)

— Andrew Mason (@MaseDenver) August 11, 2026

Jaylen Waddle still isn't practicing, but he seems to be trending in the right direction.
