Welcome to Day 6 of Denver Broncos training camp.
After a third-straight padded practice on Wednesday, the Broncos defense has shown it is already nearing regular season form. They dominated the session from start to finish. The injury scares are also piling up, but so far none have been the long-term bad kind. That luck needs to hold up after seeing teams like the San Francisco 49ers pile up those bad kinds of injuries we definitely don’t ever want to see. We’ll see if the pads are on again today or if Sean Payton begins to wind things down ahead of the team’s day off on Sunday.
As for the live updates here, Scotty Payne will continue to update this post live. I hope to be back next week for all-day type coverage.

#Broncos WR Jaylen Waddle not in pads today, but here for practice. Good sign for him. Sean Payton said yesterday he left practice with “muscle tightness.” pic.twitter.com/0xK5WI9koN

GREAT NEWS: Nik Bonitto is practicing today.

What I’m watching at Broncos practice today from ‘wow’ new modern facility:
– AFC contender with most continuity of any team from last year
– Jaylen Waddle eye-opening impact w/ Bo Nix
– Vance Joseph elite Defense hunting Bears 1984 sack record
– Can run game take next step? pic.twitter.com/1Lq3wEEdAk

#Broncos WR Courtland Sutton, Jaylen Waddle both doing work on side field during position drills at camp this AM.
So perhaps not, indeed, a *true* couple rest days for Sutton.
Nik Bonitto also doing ladder work on side field, as are Luke Wattenberg + rookie OLB Dasan McCullough
