Summary: When the Cards poke around in Valdosta, find a diamond in the rough three star athlete, and are setting up camp outside Lowndes High, you could say we’ve…..“Ben” there, done that.
The Cards pulled a young linebacker TJ Quinn from the same cloth, so if Corhei turns out even remotely close to the type of player we got from Quinn, I’m all in. The interior lineman has good size, great strength for a young buck months removed from algebra and shop class, and has already been complemented for his ability to pick up things very fast. They don’t call him ‘Big Brain Ben’ for nothing (they don’t call him that). Arriving on campus in January Ben got some good time and reps during the Spring and will look to see some early action against the buy games like Villanova and Ole Miss (ohh, early shot at the Cards first opponent…deal with it Rebs).
Take a peak below at Corhei pushing around bodies like they were small children back in high school. More pancakes than Waffle House at 2am.
