Summary: When they told me Santana was coming to Louisville, I immediately began to look for Rob Thomas as well (its an old person joke), but then realized this was not Carlos, but the Wilson variety, and instead of coming from Mexico, he was coming from a bit further north, the Lone Star state of Texas.
Wilson joins the Cards via the transfer portal from Sark’s Longhorns after logging some PT last year, but still looking to find a more permanent home. The son of NFL Safety Adrian Wilson, Santana has the pedigree and the size to make an impact this year, especially in a secondary looking for some guys to step up and make plays. Wilson was a highly touted recruit out of highschool and with three seaosns of eligibility left here’s hoping his transition into the red and black is a ‘Smooth’ one.
