Erling Haaland called ‘best finisher’ in Europe after goal in Manchester City training
Man City are set to face off with Premier League holders Arsenal in a Community Shield tie this Sunday.
While it may not be the most prestigious trophy, it can give teams some confidence heading into the new Premier League campaign.
Whether Haaland actually starts the clash remains to be seen, but a number of fans have been impressed with what they’ve seen from the Norwegian during training ahead of the game.
In response to his training goal, one supporter responded: “Ridiculous finish.”
A second replied by stating: “Pray for Arsenal.”
“Cooking for the Community Shield final,” commented a third.
Another added: “Bro now dribbles. Sorry defenders.”
A fifth wrote: “Haaland looking sharp already. Once he gets that rhythm going, defenders know exactly what’s coming and still can’t stop it.”
Another went as far as to claim: “He is the best finisher in Europe.”
Haaland ended last season with 38 goals and nine assists in 52 matches across all competitions for City.
