Erling Haaland left amused as fans flock to Sicily holiday location

Erling Haaland has shared his reaction after fans began turning up in boats outside his holiday spot in Sicily.

The Manchester City striker is currently in Taormina following Norway’s World Cup campaign, where he scored seven goals before their quarter-final exit to England.

Haaland travelled straight to Italy after the tournament, skipping celebrations back home as he continues his summer break with close friends and family.

Erling Haaland reacts as Sicily boat tours pass by his holiday stay​

The situation quickly caught his attention.

In a video posted online, Haaland could be heard reacting to the scene unfolding outside his accommodation.

‘Look at the tourist boats. Go and drive past where Haaland stays. Come have a look at where

Erling Haaland stays. I’ve never seen anything like it,’ he said.

Fans on the boats were cheering loudly as they passed by, clearly aware of who was staying nearby.


The moment has since gone viral, with supporters amused by the unexpected level of attention around his holiday.

It also reflects just how popular Haaland has become following another strong international showing.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old has remained active on social media during the break.

He has been sharing clips from his travels, as well as moments with his girlfriend Isabel Johansen and Norway team-mates.

That includes a recent video where he jokingly reacted to actor Michele Morrone speaking with Johansen.

Haaland laughed it off at the time, making it clear he was not taking the moment seriously.


Now, his latest Sicily clip has added to the light-hearted content fans have been enjoying.

With the new Premier League season approaching, his focus will soon shift back to Manchester City.

For now, though, Haaland appears to be making the most of his time away, even if it means dealing with a few unexpected visitors along the way.
