Bucks @ Suns Saturday Finals game thread 7-17-2021 Game - Game 5

When down 3 with like a minute left he did a nice drive around the side for an easy layup to cut the lead to 1. That was huge, but the 2 3s really dented their lead prior to that along with another 2 and no misses.

Bucks @ Suns Saturday Finals game thread 7-17-2021 Game - Game 5

He was the main catalyst for the comeback at the end going 4-4 down the stretch with two huge 3s. Bridges hit a big 3 too (and one earlier in the quarter) and Book was like 3-5 down the stretch but we wouldn't have been in it at the end without Paul. Didn't seem disinterested to me.

Bucks @ Suns Saturday Finals game thread 7-17-2021 Game - Game 5

The thing about Paul is, even though I know he does have torn ligaments in his hand, if his arm or hand is bothering him as much as you say, how do you explain his 60% shooting and 100% from 3? He was like 9-15 overall with 3 3s. And he shot very well in every other game except game 4. The...

Bucks @ Suns Saturday Finals game thread 7-17-2021 Game - Game 5

It's going to be tough to get past the 2nd round no matter what with a healthy Lakers, Clippers, Warrior, Nuggets and Jazz. And then the Mavs took the healthy Clips to 7.

Bucks @ Suns Saturday Finals game thread 7-17-2021 Game - Game 5

Would you rather be a fringe playoff team for the next 3 years? Even if the Suns got the best guy on the market, a 35 year old Lowry, I don't think it makes them better. Suns will likely be over the cap even if they don't sign him...not this summer but next. And he can still opt in and take his...

Bucks @ Suns Saturday Finals game thread 7-17-2021 Game - Game 5

Paul finding his rythm? He scored 21 on 60% shooting and 100% from 3 with 11 ast and 1 turnover. He was the main catalyst in bringing us back scoring 10 down the stretch on 4-4 shooting with two huge 3s.

    TJ Warren

They didn't sign Dinwiddie to big money...they got him on a great deal and have a boatload of wings. No way they trade him for Oubre, Jackson or Warren. They may pay him the max (if they have to..but that's doubtful) unless they can sign a superstar with all their cap space.

    TJ Warren

Yes, of course you trade Jackson. He is a HUGE net negative on the court every time turning it over more than he assists and being one of the most putrid shooters and offensive guys in the entire NBA. If he can net you anything at this point, that's a plus, but an equal return to TJ, no...

Poll - Igor Kokoskov's Future With the Suns

He's still playing with 3 rookies who are major parts of the rotation, a 38 year old combo guard no one else would sign for the minimum, a disappointing 2nd year player and only two veteran scorers who have been injured. McD set anyone up to fail with this roster. And Nash? Why would people...

Poll - Igor Kokoskov's Future With the Suns

I'd be somewhat surprised if he's fired this year. Joe Prunty would be worse as an interim. Igor has shown he is a solid coach internationally and a great assistant with very good teams. Utah misses him. Plus the Suns rep would get worse and hiring a coach with any sort of good resume would...

    2017-2018 Draft Prospects watch.

Bagley is playing on one of the most stacked teams in the history of college basketball with 5 guys likely to go in the first round or shortly thereafter, so all of his attempts are wide open. As for Doncic, it's because of what has been talked about...now spending time as the primary ball...

    Bled+picks=top 7?

How in the world can you compare Bled to KJ? The only time KJ had to deal with a bad team was when he was traded as a rookie to a 28 win team who was trading away their best player (Larry Nance) to get him. He began to put up insane stats almost immediately, getting 16 assists in his third...

    Robert Sarver

He has been shortsighted as an owner in the nba which has cost the Suns over the years, but he has learned his lesson little by little since then, and with Nash, he might be ok. And perhaps being shortsighted is good for that league...not sure how quickly things can turn around if you don't...

Who is more unwatchable? Suns or Sun devils (football)

I agree. I've enjoyed watching the young guys play. We didn't have much for young guys until last year, but last year felt like a bigger trainwreck to me because they tore down a fun team and then scrambled at the trade deadline to make matters worse.

    Suns fire assistant coaches

There was also talk about the two ousted assistants were also undermining Hornacek, and from experience, I know that when guys who are second or third in command start talking to people under them about them disagreeing with who is in charge, it gets toxic. I'm guessing guys like Morris and...

    Suns @ Sac Town

I agree with that. Losses are ok at this point, but it also would be nice if they could keep it closer. But the main thing is those guys continuing to get major minutes.

PJ Tucker: Suns always "do something dumb to let you win it"

I agree with that. I can't PM yet, but will when I can.

    Tankathon Rankings

I pretty much agree. With Bledsoe, Booker, Warren, (Leuer or PJ or maybe Terrence Jones if we trade for him) and Len, I think we can be pretty good for the future.

    Suns @ Spurs 12-30-15

I think they are usually great teammates, but they lose control at officials and certainly off the court...I knew a guy who went to Kansas with them and he said they were bad news and protected there..he alluded to beating up women and stuff.

    Suns @ Spurs 12-30-15

No, they wouldn't but there have been advanced stats showing the Klay Thompson is a net negative on the floor without Curry. I noticed Klay and Dray shot 4-13 tonight. When you don't have that one guy commanding attention from everyone, it makes your jobs quite a bit tougher on offense.

It's also more about age and continuity and bbiq of players.

Cotton Nice to see the young or new guys get minutes. I thought Bryce showed flashes despite also making some dumb plays, and he is quick. Already like him more than the other guys you mentioned.

Without a doubt, but Arians is the most impressive to me. What a phenomenal coach. I mean, despite multiple injuries, they just bring it big time every game.
