That is kind of silly - let’s see we run him out of town for what reason ? Pay him to go to upgrade many other teams for what reason? We don’t have a replacement in a poor qb market - for what reason - cause folks are mad ? Because he is hurt again? Michael Carter was our leading rusher with 333 yards last year! Expect any qb to be successful with that running production ?
I think it’s stupid to not compete km against rookie or other qb that comes in here. And pay km that much.
But stupid is as stupid does
Even Montana was released. And Murray is no Montana.
We had no running back yet no one wants to give Brissett that consideration.
He’s gone. End of story.

Either a shrewd move by Tua's people to get the Dolphins to announce his release or Bidwill blocked (waited) to keep Kyler from having the Falcons as an option. That was the other rumored team he was interested in.

Kyler sucks, and I am 100% certain he will flop wherever he lands. He will be like Russel Wilson after leaving Seattle.... terrible. except Kyler was NEVER good
I disagree - he is the best fa qb available, with skills and production. Vocal fans are not seeing with clear eyes, we already paid him the lion share of his huge contract cards agreed too. I would like to see him beat on the field -

Why exactly ? Because folks mad ? I see the flaws, inconsistency, but I also see better talent than anyone available in draft or fa under contract - to pricey? We already paid that. Like I said , I would like to have seen him beat on the grass , not on popularity. Our new coach should have had a shot with him imo. If it’s a money move it’s a stupid money move .

When we are down 3 scores in the first half week in and week out at least you can say "Man it's so nice not to have to watch Kyler keeping us in games anymore!"
And thats what last year looked like much of the JG back half of the season.

Yesterday was a perfect start to what this franchise has done historically without a good QB.

Jets trade for Geno, and we couldn’t find a way to get anything for Kyler? Wild
I mean I guess. Is a swap of sixth round pics anything to be beating your chest over? To acquire Geno freakin Smith?

I’m more interested in the cap space that it would have provided. I guess after what went down yesterday it really doesn’t matter much.

It wouldn't have been his choice in any way, shape, or form.
More people that don’t know how this works.

Wait till you find out that we won’t be able to draft the best QB in the draft next year even if we have the number 1 pick.

Gonna be a shock for a lot of you that don’t understand the NFL and QBs.

Sure they do.

And remember its the Jets.

But please continue this hate on you have for K1.
Nah no hate at all. I like the kid as a person and he was so freaking nice when he stopped and spoke with me for almost 10 minutes while I was working the floor for his hotel here in Vegas the night before the game. His interaction with fans in general. He’s genuinely a good person it seems. But I also am not blinded by his mediocre play on the field and letting this team down with his level of play as a #1 overall and after tallying a 1/4 billion dollar contract to boot. I can differentiate the two of regualr life and this game we all love as entertainment.

Mediocre play on a terrible franchise is so shocking.

KW couldn’t even win 11 games in a season here.

Matt Stafford, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, even the craptastic Geno Smit has shown what can be done when you espcape turd franchises like ours. K1 is for sure better than Darnold and Smith. Gonna be rough when the season starts and he’s throwing dimes to JJ in Minny.

So sick of this narrative. Many of us did not want him to be our pick when we had the top pick. Many of us wanted Quinnen Williams. We already should have had our QBOTF with Lamar Jackson, but the team had gone with Josh Rosen instead.

Still, as fans of the team, we hoped for the best with Kyler. For 7 years. 7 years. Clearly, he was not the right choice to help us here in the desert and we are ready to move on. A change of scenery will be beneficial to us all.

That doesn't make people ready for this change haters, racists, or anything other labels you want to throw at us. We are Cardinals fans who want to see something different moving forward. Period.
