The Diamondbacks have flipped Zack Greinke and Merrill Kelly on Tuesday and Wednesday. Greinke will go tomorrow, Kelly on Wednesday, in two-game series vs. Yankees.

And CC Sabathia picks up his 3,000th strikeout and received a deserved ovation
from D-backs fans. He is the 3rd Major Leaguer to accomplish that. The strikeouts,
not the ovation.

Following, I think Steve said, 18 consecutive in innings, Greinke gives up two
doubles to make it a 1-1 game.

Flores picks up his 2nd RBI of the game, driving in Escobar, who was last week's NL
Player of the Week. 2-1 D-backsat the end of 4.

Peralta with a sac fly drives in Marte with an insurance run and Escobar, who got on again, is now on 2B.

It is so good to see Escobar being Escobar for us now. He joins Peralta, Walker and Jones as our best
batters.

3-1 D-backs to start the top of the 9th. Holland, of course, is coming in to close.

And now the D-backs have won 11 of their last 15 games. All four of the losses were to the Cubs.

Day game tomorrow vs. the Yankees at 12:30.

The D-backs and Padres, who both won today, are 1.5 games behind the Dodgers,
But it will probably wind up at 2 with the Dodgers holding a large lead in their game.

Edit: Yup, the Dodgers beat the Giants 10-3.
