i'm just gonna drop a blanket statement that i can drop a link to everytime someone thinks i'm crazy for thinking our defense will improve even while losing calais

gannon is gone for one - meaning waiting until 3rd down to blitz is gone - i think gannon caught all the smoke for only sending 4

i think rallis is going to use budda again too but like he used to - as a freelance destroyer

the mack attack will be back and i'm expecting a different simon - mark my words

- i think rallis is going to blitz diabolically again this year with all the players who've been under his tutelage since they came into the league - i'm counting on some of monti's picks finally coming to fruition

i don't think we'll be a top 10 defense but i know we won't be 30th - which is where they have us now before preseason begins

i think we'll be mid but exciting - our defense didn't score last year but will this year - sweat with double digit sacks - maybe more than budda goes to the probowl - nothing crazy but not dead last

27th overall - 24th in passing - 29th in points allowed - only 5 teams allowed more yards per game - i could go on but it all adds up to arizona's defense being ranked 30th in the nfl this season before the season even starts

defense is how you win championships - this is why nobody is predicting any cardinal wins - not just because we're in the nfc west but because last year was a crap fest

but let the record show - our defense was doing more with less (as far as talent goes) a couple years ago - one could say we were kicking ass - we weren't allowing touchdowns for whole ass games and then we basically went defense in the entire draft - it was all supposed to be so gravy last year

injuries were a factor sure - but it all flat-lined when gannon changed the defensive philosophy (which we've gone over) refusing to send more than four on first and second downs

rallis doesn't make that change without gannon's say so - but considering rallis is still here and gannon isn't - i'm pretty freakin sure it was gannon who made the (devastating) change

the pressure became to much - gannon went from playing to win to playing not to lose - we all saw the extremely frustrating difference

our defense was so trash we couldn't enjoy our newly found offense with our defense crippling any chance of glory

and here's another thing - arizona has gobs of talent on defense and it's thanks to monti ossenfort - monti trusts rallis to get the most out of his draft picks for a reason - that reason is aggressiveness

our defense produced zero touchdowns last year - because that's what sending 4 gets you

if you ask me we're the only team in the nfl that shouldn't give af this year - we should just wreck everyone - blitz blitz blitz - don't send 5 send 6 - budda choosing his gaps up the middle - we need to get back at it man

we were literally wrecking teams a couple years ago but couldn't score to save our lives - then it flip flopped dramatically

my thoughts are this - rallis wanted to stay - he could've gotten on somewhere elsewhere (and out of arizona) but i'm guessing he knows how good this defense should have been last year

no crazy predictions this morning aside from significant improvement - i think we're going the murder route again - i hope so - i still got the memes
The defense last year had nothing to do with wins or losses. It was all Brissett's fault for that 1-11 record.

I remember the same optimism last year...

Right? The opposing team was scoring 30+ points, why weren't we? JB had Trey and Wilson to throw to...fewer options so fewer mistakes, right? He didn't even have to worry about handing off to a running back, since we didn't have any.....possibility of a fumble is gone. So, you're right, JB sucks....can't wait for our stud Beck to lead us to the promised land.....LOL
sarcasm implied ;)

I mean all you have to do is ask which of our starters would start for another nfc west team.

You look at the 11 that are their backups and it’s even worse!

That the cupboard is bare monti’s fault, 100%, and I feel sorry for the vets like sweat and mack Wilson and Budda who are going to get their heads kicked in all year because Monti is a profound failure.

Sigh..If the young guys like Johnson and Nolen all play superstars we could be a middle of pack unit I guess. That’s the cope I mean the hope.

I never knew you were an NFL coach/scout.....
So let's see...32 teams with 53 players each is 1,692 players....let's skip PS players to simplify things
32 teams with 22 starters is 704 players
So, the possibility of our 22 starters playing for another team is 32%
Hmm, that seems high, I may have fat fingered my calculator. But, I'm willing to bet there is a percentage....LOL

This is so wildly speculative considering the historical ineptness of this franchise. While Id love it if you were correct, its FAR more likely the FO and coach ML couldnt close the deal on any DC they interviewed on the offseason, and in the end kept NR because he was already under contract. We'll see how the season plays out, but I think it more likely Rallis is out of work after this season, than we become a wrecking machine.

that's ok - when we start blitzing again on first and second downs it'll all make sense to you

cb battle between melton and burke

After Mike LaFleur decided to retain Nick Rallis as his defensive coordinator, Melton shared some displeasure on social media. Melton said he and Rallis have talked it out and are good.
It’s so good that a fifth round pick is giving Monti’s second round pick everything he can handle.

happens all the time - coaches don't care what round they were drafted
All the time? Can you name three examples of it happening on top 15 defenses over the past five years?

I already basically wrote your AI prompt for you. How about if you’re wrong you don’t post a tweet from an account with fewer than 10k followers through the end of August?
