Oh I know...and nobody wants him gone. But it's a business, and it's money, and age is a reality everyone knew was coming.
But you don't bring in Algeier and pay him that contract unless your planning to move on from JC.

Every RB in the league knows they will spend the last few years of their career bouncing from team to team.

I hink we signed Allgeir before we had decided to draft Love. Just a guess but I think they planned on going OL or defense when they signed him but after evaluating all the guys came to the conclusion that Love was by far the best player on the board when we picked so they took him

They did..they signed dude in the first day or so of free agency

No I am saying when we signed him we were not planning to draft Love. But after doing ou homework that plan changed.

I would think you could run 20 or 21 personnel in this offense and get multiple backs on the field at once. MLF has said repeatedly they did not intend to do 11 personnel it just ended up fitting their roster. I think you could do something really creative with a RB room this deep, at least on some packages.
