I'll definitely be rooting for the Knicks in the Finals.

I'm not.

I want their delusional fans to suck it. They've been declaring to high heavens that this WCF isn't the "real Finals". They were even wanting the Spurs since they beat them for the NBA Cup.

They're on a Dallas Cowboys level delulu trip right now.

The last time the Knicks won a championship was in 1973... the Spurs 2014.

The Spurs have had that overall first round pick thing going on for too long, getting big men David Robinson, Tim Duncan and now Wemby.

I actually liked Manu. An ultimate team player who does all the little things and never complains.

Besides the obvious ones in Bowen and Horry, the guy I didn't like was Tony Parker. I just felt he was wildly overrated and a lot of other guards would have been as successful or more so. Also, he banged his teammates wife.

Back when I truly hated them, not only were they a thorn in our side but they were a painfully boring team to watch. Final scores of 78-67 and stuff like that. They just ground teams to dust.

But they went from playing like that to being one of the most free wheeling teams, ball movement fast paced teams in the league during the early 2010s, despite having a lot of the same players. Pop was a brilliant coach.

As a kid, David Robinson was probably my favorite "not a Sun" player in the league.

I'm kind of with you.

On the one hand I like Mikal and Brunson quite a bit, but everybody acting like they have already won the finals pisses me off. It's complete delusion considering how much weaker the East is.

I am going to admit I don't really hate the Spurs. Never really have, I actually kind of liked the Duncan, Manu, Parker teams. I know they sort of cheated the Suns out of a title, but I still don't dislike them.

The Lakers on the other hand I despise.

So glad OKC is bounced - bad enough the franchise exists, but the brand of anti-basketball they play is gross and unwatchable - they have too much talent for that trash

I grew up generally not looking the Knicks because their fans are absurd and delusional - however, that has softened as I haven't had to deal with them in decades and I don't mind their current squad ...... I'm sure it will all come back though
