That's what she said...At least he’s got some semblance of hip fluidity
His last throw in the Championship game still sticks in my head. He just yeeted it for no reason with the National title on the line. That does not inspire a ton of confidence about his poise. What I’m hearing is that there is a maturity issue. There’s also a strength issue and a poise issue. The latter is the hardest to correct.
That's the 8 inches between the ears under pressure I worry about. But there are better NFL players i ever thought would be that good that never had that situation to blow up in and got so much better. His last throw in the Championship game still sticks in my head. This was supposed to be an ugly drill. This video was shared and debunked for not being what is assumed. At least he’s got some semblance of hip fluidity.

Not directed at Beck, but we are champions in shorts and no pads.Found some non-company clips that aren’t sped up and slowed down. Still looks pretty smooth in drills.

And rightly so, he is the cardinal future...I'm too old for this ScheiBeJust read that in each of Miami's loses they had the ball with a chance to win on the final drive and in all 3 of them Beck threw a game deciding pick.
Didn't know that one.
I had an opportunity to drive a Lambo back in 1983...Glass shop owner owned one... it was beat to crap..broken body panels and such... but it was still a Lambo,...and when the guy offered to let me drive it around the block I nearly pissed myself...I was terrified, lol... even as a beat up hunk of crap there was no way I could afford to fix anything I brokeEasy. I had a down payment on a Lambo, went in to pick it up only to find out some a-hole slipped the salesman an extra thousand and stole it from me. Dirty SOB.
when it gets chaotic in the backfield the game speeds up for him.Just read that in each of Miami's loses they had the ball with a chance to win on the final drive and in all 3 of them Beck threw a game deciding pick.

May or may not out grow it...but at 24 he might be running out of time.
WOW!Well... like I said, watching him, hearing him talk, reading stories about him... he just seems kinda stupid.
I hope the optimists are right and he's "immature"... because you can't fix stupid.
i'd say earlier than the bye - once you're 0-6 anyhthing's possible - but if beck wants to start sooner he has to beat out minshew regardlessIt does seem the schedule is designed to start a rookie after the bye if they intend to start Beck in year one.
I heard the Steelers coaches told him to forget everything he was taught in college and are starting from scratch. This was supposed to be an ugly drill. This video was shared and debunked for not being what is assumed.
really?? wait until after week 14??/It does seem the schedule is designed to start a rookie after the bye if they intend to start Beck in year one.

I should have driven the beater Lambo.....once in a lifetime chance
You with a few others crack me up. Like you actually know?Yeah, for all the talk about how he supposedly can process well, I don’t see it.
He tries a lot of hero ball stuff and throws a lot of picks.
Generally, on and off the field, he comes off to me as kind of an idiot.
I hope I’m wrong but my expectation is that he will get a shot during the season and he’s going to be so bad that we go back to Brissett or Minch after only a few games.
never driven a lambo but have gotten a hummer - in a hummerI had an opportunity to drive a Lambo back in 1983...Glass shop owner owned one... it was beat to crap..broken body panels and such... but it was still a Lambo,...and when the guy offered to let me drive it around the block I nearly pissed myself...I was terrified, lol... even as a beat up hunk of crap there was no way I could afford to fix anything I broke

On several threads there has been some outright hostility towards Carson Beck---statements that are pretty direct---"i don't like Beck,' etc.
What is it about CBK (the K added so that we don't confuse him with cornerbacks) that is triggering this kind of animosity?
His play and concern about his arm injury and recovery is one thing---but simply hating the guy?
Haters please respond.
Yeah, when he told the kid not to go to the Manning camp, he should've been fired. Granted, Penn State mishandled it by firing him mid-season, but he had to go.I heard the Steelers coaches told him to forget everything he was taught in college and are starting from scratch.
Not a good look for Franklin and his OC.
