Agree. JB was not the problemMind boggling! I'm not quite sure how anyone expected Brissett to win a few more games when the defense was giving up an average of 36.5 PPG in his starts while he had running backs that would struggle to be in the UFL and an offensive line that was made up of practice squad players, gets sacked 43 times in 12 games, yet manages to throw 23 TDs against 8 INTs and somehow he manages to help Wilson and McBride to career years.
People complained how Murray wouldn't stand in the pocket and take hits to complete passes yet Brissett did this on a consistent basis.

A backhanded compliment is telling a woman that she doesn't sweat much for a fat girl.I believe this is what's called "a backhanded compliment"![]()
You carry your weight really wellA backhanded compliment is telling a woman that she doesn't sweat much for a fat girl.
I believe both misguided attempts at a compliment will earn a severe backhand across the lips: "You hit really hard for a girl."You carry your weight really well
Unfortunately, there are 52 other players that play some part in those wins.I think the best way to handle JB’s demand for more money would be to tell him either except the following, or you can be cut:
Your salary stays the same and we will pay you $750,000 per win.
I’m sure he’d rather be cut. Are you prepared start the season — and play 17 games — with Minshew, Beck, and Slovis?I think the best way to handle JB’s demand for more money would be to tell him either except the following, or you can be cut:

Yes the alternative is much worse. A major reason we were 1-11 was our execrable defense.brissett aint longterm - dude went 1-11 lmao - im supposed to be terrified of losing brissett
i got us penciled in for 7 wins with brissett starting the season and beck finishing it so you're preaching to the choirYes the alternative is much worse. A major reason we were 1-11 was our execrable defense.
Brissett was probably the third major contributor to that finish after butt RBs and the defense. Coaching incompetence and OL injuries rank highly also.
Brissett in semi normal circumstances should lead you to an anonymous 6-11 season.
Never been a use case where a team lost its way to consistent success.i got us penciled in for 7 wins with brissett starting the season and beck finishing it so you're preaching to the choir
7 wins is worse than 8 wins - 9 wins or 10 wins
you know what's better than 7 wins in this division? 6 wins and so forth - i'd be happy to only get 3 wins again
brissett ain't doing ish for us this year aside from keeping the seat warm - 7 wins gets us right back to the same problem
if brissett wants starter money trade him to a team that might start him for pick(s) in next year's draft
You must be registered for see images attach
start minshew and wait to give beck a shot - hopefully we hit the lottery with beck but khaman - who are we kidding- and why are we giving a damn about winning 6 or 7 games in this division next year
right on - none of that changes anything i stated maestro - we aint doing jack ish this yearNever been a use case where a team lost its way to consistent success.
The Texans were 17-33 in the three seasons after the Watson debacle. Monti and Co are 15-36.
who says it would be less watchable - was last season watchable - you wanna run it back talking about watchable - sorry to go all allen iverson but khaman my guy is 9 losses in a row watchable? technically brissett is more watchable considering he doesn't move - but we haven't seen minshew or beck - are we declaring them unwatchableThe solution is never to make the football less watchable
I wouldn't do wins as an incentive, but I'd do other stats...for the season and per game. Like measuring his performance having a clean game (no turnovers) or completion %...YPA...stuff like that.I think the best way to handle JB’s demand for more money would be to tell him either except the following, or you can be cut:
Your salary stays the same and we will pay you $750,000 per win **as a starter.

Yes. Beck wins it. You kidding me...GD..Brissett is the answer..oof..so freaking angry at this organization.
It was more watchable because of McBride and Wilson. The Passtronaut didn’t make those guys shine like that.who says it would be less watchable - was last season watchable - you wanna run it back talking about watchable - sorry to go all allen iverson but khaman my guy is 9 losses in a row watchable? technically brissett is more watchable considering he doesn't move - but we haven't seen minshew or beck - are we declaring them unwatchable
