He was born on Nov 19, 2002, so whether he likes it or not, he is not 24 until he has his birthday this year. Maybe he likes rounding up?
Well, I guess if you wanna go off the Internet rather than his birth certificate. You’re acting like you were in the delivery room or something. I really don’t care about his age, just sharing what the player himself said.

This article says he turned 24 in November. And Beck says the same thing. I guess some article got it wrong and it’s been repeated.

Thank God this is resolved. One hurdle overcome for Beck already.
It’s very important, I know.

There is a lesson. Fans search the internet and think they know better than scouts and Gms, when some websites can’t even get birthdays right. I have given up trying to substantially evaluate the draft at draft time. It’s almost pointless. I remember being all excited about drafts because the experts said we did great, only to find thing turn out horrible later.

Deandre Ayton jaded me forever.

I think we have all learned that these "experts" are always correct about how good the drafts of other teams are. While always overestimating the talent of our drafts.

The response to this Cardinals draft has been pretty muted overall. From what I have read at least.

Personally, I don't understand all the dislike for Beck on the forum here. I have not read all the reviews, postings, socials about him. So, I don't know what he has said or done off the field to take so much heat and dislike, of which some of it is pretty strong on here?
I also haven't watched too much of his films, etc.
Honestly, I'm surprised this has gone with no reply.

His attitude at Georgia, and work ethic, was considered questionable. There's a reason they told him they were done with him, and left him to decide to declare for the NFL Draft or find his way to Miami for NIL money.

Beck has a lot of existing drama with his TikTok influencer ex-girlfriend, Hannah Cavender, who played sports at Miami, and was a big reason he chose to take the money and choose the school, an uncomfortable "recruiting" violation in a lot of ways. He had vehicles stolen from his home in a shady way, that were never recovered - a Lamborghini and Mercedes.

Cavender alluded to issues of him cheating potentially, rumored with a major pornstar. He's got a lot of apparently uncomfortable history messaging women privately on Instagram, spending time in South Beach clubs, blowing money... and these are just the off-field issues.

On-field, he's apparently distant from teammates, and after the final Miami loss, chose not to shake hands and left.

We're a fanbase that gave Matt Leinart issues for a couple of hot tub pictures back in the day. This guy is giving a lot of public consideration to why he might be a worse person.

Im just super worried about his arm since the UCL injury. Watching him at Miami he had less zip on the ball than 33 year old Colt McCoy.

Kyler didn't do much at all to help himself while he was here. Took a big injury for him to appear to want to try and be a good teammate and leader and spend more time in Arizona than Texas. He is not blameless at all in his failures in AZ.
I disagree -I think he did quite a lot - was not supported when run game fell completely apart - including the toss away before the goal line that clearly broke the back of any effort -
He was blamed and scapegoated - evidenced by Brisset playing his tail off while accumulating losses.
I can’t believe all the piling on and on and on -
Now it’s happening with Beck imo. Listen to everybody - just look at them.
Have not seen a legitimate reason to cut and eat 52 million - beyond slobbering emotional appeal by fans and menus.
None - may not have produced wanted results - but didn’t earn being cut at that price.

he went to Miami,...simply because staying in college for 2025 was not part of the plan. He was supposed to move to the NFL. But he got injured...so he needed to play another year to prove he wasnt washed.
Georgia, had a young QB in the wings waiting his chance to step into the starting role. That was the plan. Thats why they didnt keep Beck...they had already given the job when they thought Beck was going pro...cant just snatch it back when Beck decides to stay in college...there are futures at stake..careers at stake...cant punish another kid because Beck got hurt.

The simple fact that Cards fans like Jacoby after he went 1-11 because he will stand in the pocket and throw over the middle says a lot. We haven’t seen that in 7 years.

i think mcbride and wilson would be pissed - they probably wouldn't say anything disruptive but they had career years with brissett - they set records together

i think it's brissett's job whether or not he has to beat out the others in camp but lafleur could have other plans - who knows right

I am torn. The team that was decimated by injuries is coming back so see what they can do with a Veteran QB, right?

At the same time, that QB went 1-11 last year and most of those records were set while trailing so why not see what the rookie has to offer, right?

See? Torn but ultimately want Beck to start all year to see what he’s got.

Good lord just stop. Kyler made 200m and now is going to for what most would say is a better team.
Poor Kyler…

Can’t disagree with that, but Kyler did some scrambles nobody else could - I guess I’m over it - he is already run out of town - Vikings get 57 million in value from our fans, including me - our media and fans are still toxic - look at the anti support they give beck
