Barf. Beck will be available in the 4th.
Going to disagree here! Just like Simpson, the QB's will go earlier than anticipated. If there is someone that we really need in the 2nd round, go for it but there isn't. We could hold out taking Beck #1 in the 3rd round but he will not be there in the 4th round.

pregnon and bisonitis are good players. I like Cassius Howell but you have to be comfortable with his size. Lots of Ss and CBs and ILBs and NTs on the board.

I really like Hecht as a stretch zone C but I don’t know if they have the luxury of taking him in 2. Maybe if they traded back but I als don’t love that.

Would you rather have Beck over Pregnon or say Caleb Tiernan? I wouldn’t and I think Allar would be a solid pick in the 3rd if the Cards really want to go QB.

With pick #34...Gennings Dunker, OT, Iowa - please. Pregnon is a guard and has some serious flaws for 2nd round. Beck or Nuss in the 3rd. Would not touch Howell from A&M - gets tossed around too much.

Crownover is intriguing to me. He's got the physical traits to be a starter level tackle but needs some polishing.
Interesting guy. Might be worth the risk in round 4 or 5. Not much better out there. He is an RT. He also physically meets the requirements. He have to want to excel more to get my interest. This is a guy who play 47 games at tackle, most at RT. Yet his poor technique and stunning lack of fundamentals is hard to believe. Is he coachable? He hasn’t been so far. In 2025 he allowed 27 pressures so cleanly 25 became hurries. Flagged 11 times in 2025, could have been flagged 20+. Most observers felt he played worse in 2025 than 2024.

He’ll play G in the NFL. He’s doesn’t have quick enough feet or length to play tackle in the NFL, even on the right side. Mean player though. I might give him a shot in round 3, but not if they get Pregnon or Bisontis.

I don't know much about Tiernan but I play pickleball with a lot of old guys (over 60) much quicker than Pregnon. I'll refer to Harry since he scouted similar guys. I just don't see the fit for what MLF will want to do.

Maybe the best case scenario is that we trade back into the middle of the 2nd and hopefully pick up a 3rd too.

I am guessing that Beck will be the next QB taken. Where, I don't know!

I like the safety from Toledo at 34, McNeil-Warren, or the safety from Oregon, along with aforementioned McDonald and Oregon guard.

It's a balancing act, you probably don't play pickleball with guys who can survive a bull rush from a freak of nature.

My choice for RT in round 3 or maybe a trade back into late round 2 is Gennings Dunker from Iowa.

I think we can trade down 5-10 spots and still get one of the two guards, or likely one of the inside LB's. So I am in favor of doing that.
No chance on 5, maybe 10 but huge risk to get nothing unless someone’s offering a RT.

Interesting. I forgot about Tiernan and he could be a swing OT as well. Great thought!
