Offensive Line

  1. T Francis Mauigoa, Miami (FL)
  2. G Olaivavega Ioane, Penn State
  3. T Spencer Fano, Utah
  4. T Kadyn Proctor, Alabama
  5. G Emmanuel Pregnon, Oregon
  6. T Monroe Freeling, Georgia
  7. T Caleb Lomu, Utah
  8. T Blake Miller, Clemson
  9. T Max Iheanachor, Arizona State
  10. G Chase Bisontis, Texas A&M

The offensive linemen in this class seem to be clustered closely at the top. In my opinion, Mauigoa and Ioane are the safest prospects who offer high-level pass protection and downhill power in the run game. Fano and Freeling are both incredibly athletic players who bring high ceilings.

One player I believe should merit consideration in the second half of the first round is Oregon guard Emmanuel Pregnon. He was the highest-graded and most-valuable guard in the Power Four this past season — and one of just two qualified offensive linemen in the nation to earn 85.0-plus PFF grades as a run blocker and a pass protector.

yeah, there are some really nice guards in this class to go with some solid if not flashy right tackles.
I like #9 on the list... Big Max, still young as a person...and an infant as a football player.
Im amazed he has worked his way in to a top 50 nfl draft pick in such a short amount of time...with a good NFL line coach his ceiling could be in the stratosphere...but I want to take him anyway even though we lost our good line coach...
But any guy on that list should be a day 1 starter....and I would hope Monti would maneuver to get 2 of them.
since we aint going flash...get the OT of his choice with our first pick...then use 34..and other assets if needed...to score a guy like Pregnon or Bisontis towards the end of the first or at 34...
starting an "All Rookie" right side of the offensive line is...unadvisable... but since we wont have a rookie QB behind them to ruin we may as well let the kids take their lumps and gel together....and with the exception of an occasional rookie mistake any of these guys are improvements over what we started last season....Briskett may be just the guy they need behind them in year 1
