Brissett is likely the starting QB and deserves to be paid like one. This clown organization should have figured that out before it became an issue.

It does make sense for him to ask for more money. The Cards created this situation when they declared Brissett starter and benched Murray for the rest of season.

That created a situation where they wound up getting nothing for Murray and now have a bottom 5 NFL starter asking for more money because we have next to nothing besides him at QB.

Probably not a good idea to make huge roster decisions based on what the media is saying.

Yep. He's a backup earning backup money. That's all he's earned IMO, if he doesn't like it there's the door. This little drama is already more than he's worth, also IMO.

Nope, that doesn’t qualify. He was the team’s backup quarterback, and the primary quarterback was injured so he was filling his role. It has nothing to do with this season moving forward. He was filling a role that he agreed to fill and agreed to the compensation to fill that role.
