Well, he isn't even a free agent yet so I don't get the stress over it quite yet. That said, yes, now is the time to try to extend him before the end of this upcoming season.

I thought Bourne would get more than this. He had a couple of games last year where, because of injuries, he had 142 yard against both the Rams and the Bucs.

I said "why?" in the other thread when it was rumoured because I expected him to get a 1 year $10m deal somewhere considering the WR market as some teams #2/3.

This is WR3/4 money and an upgrade on Dortch and Zay.

I get why he's happy.
