I'm actually surprised no team has made an offer yet like how the Jets just traded for Geno Smith. Is the rest of the NFL really gonna let a contender like the Vikes get Murray for almost nothing??

Kyler is a great reflection of the franchise. He has a lot of advantages but doesn't seem to care, he quits, he fails in big moments, he has huge flaws that are hard to overcome.

Maybe we should keep him and put his face on the helmet.
Enjoy the moment now, because it’ll suck next year if in fact he’s a Viking & McConnell figures out how to use him. Like any undersized talent, it’ll come down to whether Kyler can stay relatively healthy. The Cardinals are probably the most clueless franchise in ANY sport & Murray still had his moments with little to no support. Until Bidwill is gone, the Cardinals are a lost cause, so I’m at least happy Kyler is escaping & having an opportunity to show his true worth. There were many reasons why he didn’t ultimately succeed here, but the only real truth is that we were like 2-25 when he wasn’t on the field playing. Love him or hate him, we were miserably bad without him.

It’s hard to defend either side. I don’t think Kyler Murray is going to go elsewhere and flourish. He’s cooked. He’s too scared to run. He’s too scared to hang in the pocket. He can’t throw long accurately anymore. He can’t throw intermediate routes. He’s too short to see over his linemen for open routes. He doesn’t put in the work necessary to be a starting QB in the NFL. There are still rumors about him leaving football for baseball. I don’t think he loves football enough to do what’s required of him.

I also believe the Cardinals organization failed him. They failed to get him a coaching staff to play to his strengths. Things won’t be better in Arizona once he leaves but Kyler isn’t going to go to a new place and suddenly play like a different player. He is what he is.

He’s cooked lol. He’s 28 years old, uber talented, and now has a monstrous chip on his shoulder. And if he ends up in MN, he will have an OL that will protect him and significantly better weapons around him. And more than anything, he can play free because he’ll have a defense that can stop the opponent when he does have a rare turnover. He spent most of his career with the Cardinals knowing that he had to score on most every possession if the Cardinals had any chance of winning. And that train of thought almost never results in success.

We're all fans, so tomorrow let bygones be bygones and show the proper condolences to a former player leaving the cards and to those fans that will miss him...
...and to those fans who will continue to follow him more than the
Cardinals. Just saying...

They should have brought in his high school coaching staff. I keep hearing about how unbelievable he was in high school...
