A truthful, correct dig nevertheless. 77 years of Bidwill mediocrity. It was a shot at him, not the fans. You shouldn’t be upset about it.
It's clearly a dig. The kind I would expect from an immature kid, not a 7-year vet. What's most upsetting is @Shane's inability to admit it is a dig. :D

Murray has never seemed like a guy who had a lot of interest in the history of the game, so his agent probably told him what to type. (Yes, that was a dig.)

People looking for reasons to be mad. I don’t get it.

Did it really upset you that he took a “dig” at known horrible owner, Michael Bidwill?

In that same letter, he took ownership of never bringing the organization to success.

Hilarious that you’re upset at him telling the truth.

Dude took responsibility for his own & the teams’ failures. Something I bet folks here didn’t expect him to ever do. Weird to get mad about.
Perfectly fine to address what you couldn't get done for the team while you were there. No need to bring up the overall struggles of the team for the many years that YOU were not there. The team also has two NFL Championships. Why no talk of those years?

So, if he goes to the Minnesota Vikings, will he reference their current 57-year championship drought and say he's there to change their history of mediocrity?

I don’t know. I can’t predict the future.

Just really weird to get bent out of shape at him taking a “dig” at Bidwill despite him thanking the fans & even taking responsibility for his own failures/shortcomings in the same letter. Unless, you’re related to Bidwill.

Really weird even for you.

Not related to any Bidwills, I just think it is immature and unprofessional. I don't care who the player is. Didn't like it when Simeon Rice called Arizona the armpit of the NFL either. Be grateful for the many life-changing millions of dollars you're being paid to play a game and be above any sniping. Your words aren't going to change anything, and they just make you look small, or in Kyler's case, small-er.

Kyler will be a fine option for Vikings, he's only going to cost them 1.2 million. A competent game manger with legs who doesnt like being hit can easily win if he costs nothing and is paired with an elite roster.

Do they have an elite roster? They didnt have a single player voted into the PB and their two all pros are a kicker and a long snapper….. Granted Justin Jefferson is a true stud. But outside of that who on that roster is “elite”

Maybe elite roster is too much, but they've got talent and KOC/Flores are top tier coaches. They certainly looked like a complete team when they went 13-4 in 2024.

Jordan Addison and Jefferson on offense are both elite, their OL is above competent. I don't know their defensive players very well outside of Van Ginkel, but that is where the talent is. That defense was dynamite the entire year. They beat the Lions twice without real QB play.

I watched their 23-10 beatdown of a Lions team fighting for the playoffs. They had Max Brosmer at QB go 9/16 for 51 yards and still won easily.

They went 9-8 last year and Carson Wentz delivered the best QB play they got the entire season. If they keep last years roster together they will win a lot of games if Kyler can just play the same way he did for us in 2024.

I imagine our 2024 squad could have won a few more games too if Kyler had been 44 million dollars cheaper.

Comparable to the Broncos who cut ties with Russell Wilson at the cost of $85 million.

They then took a chance by drafting a QB and handing him the reins. Has worked out pretty well for them so far.
Denver is winning in spite of Bo Nix, not because of him. He is being carried by their defense.

1925 and 1947…. Hahaha, I don’t think anyone on this message board was alive for either of those.

Ehhh Steeler fans still talk crap about their SBs from 74,75,78

Packer fans still claim and talk crap about theirs from the 60s

Cowboy fans from the early 90s

Tons of posters here born after all of those. Where is the line drawn? what determines it?

Personally I’m not mad at him taking a dog at Mikey. He deserves it. The family deserves it. But it’s a lame way to leave a franchise that showed faith in you with that enormous second contract and paid you a kings ransom. I think the nobler departure is to acknowledge the fans, thank the organization and move on. Again, I’m not mad, I just think it’s kinda par for the course with sulky Kyler.

last night NFL network replayed the 2020 Card / Buff game that ended with the Hail Murray

a few things stood out watching that game:

WR talent for the Cards was really good in 2020: Hop, Fitz, Kirk. At RB it was Drake and Chase Edmunds (an under rated player IMO).

Kyler looked like a different guy -- so much more confident in the pocket. His deficiencies were still there, but the good stuff was so much better

Kyler the last few years played like he didnt trust his o line / was concerned about getting hurt
