I’m right there with you. He’s not even the OC on his team. McVay is the brains behind the innovation.
No on Rivera!I can get behind Ron Rivera as the DC. Experienced and he can help the transition for a new young HC. For OC, go Josh McGown. He is liked my Bidwill and he can sharpen his skills while implementing LaFleur’s offense. I’d be okay with Webb too! I just don’t the other OC’s suggested and too lazy to look them up.

Why every year he was a defensive coordinator in the league his defenses were generally elite top five in most cases….No on Rivera!
Because it was back in the 70’s when he was a DC LOL. I really don’t care who they bring in as DC/OC.Why every year he was a defensive coordinator in the league his defenses were generally elite top five in most cases….
This is not trueWhy every year he was a defensive coordinator in the league his defenses were generally elite top five in most cases….
Cards playing chessSo the reason we interviewed Kubiak was to push the Raiders to hire him so we get LaFleur and both the Seahawks and Rams lose their OC's?

Obviously it don’t know…, just saying if he would of backed out it would haveI don’t think the five days matters
Does this mean offensive tackle at 3?Curious to see who he brings in for staff. Offensive coordinator defensive coordinator will be keys to success
Would be curious what he thinks about Simpsoni asked for a inner divisional oc when this all started - wanted kubiak but im good with lafleur
only question now is where does lafleur land on the qb debate - other than that crucial tidbit lfg
Neither did Matt Laflauer, Kevin O'Connell, and Liam Cohen were the OC's under Mcvay and all have been successful. There's always that 1 a-hole who hates a move everyone else loves, right? Guess today that's me.
Gotta feel good for the people who really wanted Mike LaFleur. I just don’t see it.
He didn’t call plays with the Rams, and the last time he did call plays was with the Jets and that offense was brutal. He was only the Rams’ OC for two years, you don’t just “download McVay’s brain” in that time. Before that, he spent four years in San Francisco as the “passing game coordinator,” and the Niners went 29–35 during that stretch(Did make it to 1 Superbowl in that timeframe). I think people see the names “LaFleur” and “Rams” and get excited.
To me this feels like Bidwill chasing the next McVay again. I don’t think this is it. I will have a very open mind about this, and hope he can change my opinion. Welcome to AZ coach.
Actually you’re right but none the less…. His defenses showed pretty well and got better each. You could certainly do worse. This is not true
Why are you guys living in fantasyland? Because that didn’t happen so we don’t need to imagine it.Could you imagine if LaFluer publicly turned the cards down today. No amount of MB/MO spin could take the stink off of the hiring process they went with. We are lucky there were just two openings left.
Coen left for the Buccaneers to be a play caller. It’s an impressive list tho no doubt.Neither did Matt Laflauer, Kevin O'Connell, and Liam Cohen were the OC's under Mcvay and all have been successful.

Yes… but it makes you wonder if we chose Lafuer or was it because Kubiak turn us down. You can make an argument that they did.
That's why it was a win-win for Schefty/ IMO.Yes… but it makes you wonder if we chose Lafuer or was it because Kubiak turn us down.
Well, he's only got a 5 year contract....so, he better get started..LOLI wonder if LaFleur will read the Kyler thread here.
