I know Joe Brady had Josh Allen, but he also had a bad WR room in Buffalo, so I really can’t tell how good, okay, or bad he actually is.

McBride would be the best weapon Joe Brady has ever had & Wilson would be the 3rd best behind DJ Moore.

I want to resurrect a retired vet and hire this guy as our next coach. You can't go wrong with "Washington, Washington." Fans will dig his gallant stroll. He invented cocaine. He's got a wig for his wig and a brain for his heart. He also killed his sensei in a duel and never said why. Plays good defense, so the English say? What about you, @BritCard? Is that last loss too painful for you?

my opinion of a potential Vance hire is 100% correlated with his OC and the rest of the staff

I think Vance will create a solid culture in the building conducive to winning. The scheme stuff on defense will be fine. Offense........?

Just hire him, don't let him leave!! Why would Brady want to go to a team that might trade their #1 QB away? ;)

I'm not backing Monti for his decision making on anything, but I think this coaching search has little to do with him. Mikey wants Vance and that's what it's going to be. Monti is being the yes man/putz he is and is just doing window dressing with these "interviews".

He most likely is doing a zoom call with the Cards today. He will probably be gone before they have can fly him in for a 2nd interview.

That is the 64,000 question. Davis Webb would a home run if he lasted more than one year.

Not surprised at all that Saleh valued the Tennessee job over the AZ job. I've always thought we're in the same bucket as Cleveland and Vegas. Three franchises with no clear QB of the future and no recent history of organizational competence.

There's three plumb jobs left...Pittsburg, Buffalo and Baltimore, and there are more than 3 good coaching candidates left. I'd be happy with McDermott, Lafleur, Kubiak, Shula, or Minter. No reason one of them won't be our next coach(fingers crossed).
Also:

Doesn't have to coach against his old boss
Gets in a division that is much more manageable

so Mike Bidwill strategy: target HCs on the teams that go the SB, thus leaving you as the only option when they have a chance to actually interview

Nope you can bring Webb in as an OC if you want. It would be an upgrade over his current job.

I'm 99% sure he would be Vance's OC if the Cardinals hire Vance
I think that is correct because Webb doesn't call plays; Payton does.

I will take any respected hire at this point…. If they give it to Vance daddy has to check out a few years

Like I said. It would have been better to stick with JG another year.

Clean up the QB situation, maybe get something for him. Likely not have 3 rivals in the top 5 teams. Less competition for jobs.

Instead of 1 year of JG we now likely get 3 years of some no hoper.

Just a bad decision from Mike.

Is it possible JG lost the locker room?

Just a hunch but I feel like the front office lost the whole team. I think everyone basically quit after the Demarcado incident. You have to be able to rip your players after they do something dumb and not get fined by the team(not the nfl) for it. Where does that 100k go to? Bidwills bank account probably. Just my opinion
