I didn’t see the plays with blatant DPI by Denver but not surprised.
that's the frustrating part. call it consistently, that's what everyone wants. If it's not a flag in the first 3 quarters, why does the standard change. More often it is the other way around. they will call things for 3 quarters and then not call blatant things at the end of the game. it doesn't make any sense. if they are not going to be consistent, change the penalty to 15 yards max.![]()
Officials seemingly shifted the DPI standard in Bills-Broncos overtime
Through 60 minutes of regulation in Saturday's Bills-Broncos game, not a single flag was thrown for pass interference.www.nbcsports.com
I agree, this is why I laugh when the cowboys and cardinals play and people say there is ref bias for dallas. mind you the cowboys haven't beaten the cardinals in very long time and beyond that we know the cowboys have gone no where in the playoffs lately. I can think of one playoff game in the last 30 years where the cowboys got help from the refs. it was against the Lions in 2014, but the very next week they got screwed on the Dez Bryant call that got overturned to no catch. either way, I don't think either game was decided by the refs. Just like this game with Buffalo. they had what 5 turnovers? and one was completely self-inflicted before the half in garbage time. That one was so bad that even Tony Romo was cringing, and he was a turnover machine. that is why the bills lost, not because of the refs.No argument. Josh Allen is a mega superstar, for all the faults of the NFL, them favoring major markets is a joke. The Cowboys are the biggest brand in the league, by a mile, and they have not done squat in ages, the Giants and Jets are cesspools.
I won't argue with people who think refs are generally kinda bad, but it's not rigged. Mahomes gets calls because he is a superstar, same as Brady did... and certainly not because he plays in Kansas City, Missouri.
Its the Oaken1 curse...placed on them in 1991.Every time this happens to the Bills, I can't help but think of the X-Files.
man, that Run and Shoot that Warren Moon ran out there was a devastating offense....they were just sadly susceptible to intense pressure when the playoffs ramped up, lol.for sure, I'm just pointing out that Houston has never had their team go to the super bowl and even the oilers were always known for not being able to win playoff games. The way the oilers left is strange. I only know a few people that followed them to tennessee. Then I know people who basically stopped watching NFL or never followed another team. the majority are texans fans.
agree. a Championship quality team beats the refs and the opponent both.I agree, this is why I laugh when the cowboys and cardinals play and people say there is ref bias for dallas. mind you the cowboys haven't beaten the cardinals in very long time and beyond that we know the cowboys have gone no where in the playoffs lately. for sure, they were a little bit ahead of their time in some ways. but they definitely choked away several playoff games with stupid mistakes as well. that team had a lot of chemistry issues as well behind the scenes that I never knew about until I watched a few documentaries.man, that Run and Shoot that Warren Moon ran out there was a devastating offense....they were just sadly susceptible to intense pressure when the playoffs ramped up, lol.
Just proving your point that cards fans don't know anything about QB play.Josh Allen is not better than Cam Newton and you can’t convince me different.

AS a professional MMA and boxing judge, I find it irksome when announcers say thing like the hometown fighter or the fan favorite has an advantage because judges are influenced by the fans applauding everything they do. Well I can tell when the fight is going on I don't even hear the crowd at allThe league has an officiating problem—that’s obvious. That it refuses to address it is insane. Still, what always runs through my mind is an article I read many years ago that advocated that the zebras aren’t necessarily trying to help one team or another, but instead affected by their own bias of what team should win or that they tend to assist the home team because they can be swayed by the preference of the crowd. Makes a lot of sense to me, especially since the NFL continues to employ undertrained, part-time employees to oversee this critical aspect of its games.
This didn’t age well as usual.Just proving your point that cards fans don't know anything about QB play.

The conjecture in the article I read WisconsinCard was that officials don’t care who wins or loses, but as humans we’re wired to please so referees subconsciously slightly favor home teams. Of course, we lose that advantage at our homes games since there loads of fans in our park rooting for the visitors.AS a professional MMA and boxing judge, I find it irksome when announcers say thing like the hometown fighter or the fan favorite has an advantage because judges are influenced by the fans applauding everything they do. I think the issue is called the human factor. It's is very subjective in what they do. No two plays are just alike and to compare them is an exercise in futility. They only have their judgement to determine if it was a foul or not a foul. And they don't get the benefit of a replay. They don't care who wins or who loses.
