So was KC most years they made the SB. I don’t see where the Bills got screwed besides the first PI on the final drive that was rouging the passer anyways.

The blatant PI at the end of the game that would have given the Bills 1st and goal at the 1? Multiple hard PI's throughout the game not called? Suddenly calling a week PI at the end of the game to gift a FG?

You want to play the "swallow the whistle and let them play game, then fine. Don't call that weak ass stuff at the end of the game"

If it wasn’t PI in the end zone on Denver at the end of the 4th, I don’t see how that was PI by the bills play near the sideline in overtime.

You can’t make one call and not the other, they were very similar. That’s the calls I had issues with.

The PI to put them inside the 5 was obvious and that defender is a dope for reacting the way he did.

Didn’t think it was blatant. 50/50 call.

On a separate note if Cooks doesn’t stop his route it’s a TD on that one.

That drive could’ve easily been done before it started with a hold in the EZ for a safety against Buffalo. The only bad call I saw was the sideline PI but it was roughing the passer on Bosa that got accepted.

Yeah, but holds, as you note, is something it seems like could be called every single play.

That PI along the sideline was accepted, but yeah, there was also roughing on Bosa, and it sure as hell was roughing, he lit Nix up, I am surprised it didn't get more replays. So, that was a Denver 1st either way, I think the PI they accepted gave them like another 3 or 4 yards.

I don't think the refs handed it to them, it was a game with a lot of tossup plays and Buffalo was on the wrong end of the biggest.

The NFL will admit the receiver had possession and was down so no interception.
Or will change the rules for the next time if happens.

I don't think so.

The receiver had not established possession (football move or whatever you call it) nor did he maintain possession through the ground. If there had been no defender there and the ball had just shot out of his arms as he rolled there is ZERO chance the refs call that a catch.

4 turnovers were a bigger problem for Buffalo than the refs. Also find it hard to believe anyone outside of Denver thinks Nix is a bigger draw than Josh Allen.

I guess I'm rooting for Houston now. I was rooting for Buffalo. I know Buffalo has never won a super bowl, but Houston has never been to one. they haven't even been to a conference title game unless you count the oilers a very long long time ago.
But the Oilers are the Titans now...not the Texans.
These guys legit never been there in any capacity.
But they are an expansion team...no rush.

No argument. Josh Allen is a mega superstar, for all the faults of the NFL, them favoring major markets is a joke. The Cowboys are the biggest brand in the league, by a mile, and they have not done squat in ages, the Giants and Jets are cesspools.

I won't argue with people who think refs are generally kinda bad, but it's not rigged. Mahomes gets calls because he is a superstar, same as Brady did... and certainly not because he plays in Kansas City, Missouri.

Josh just had one of his "couple of stupid plays game" at the wrong time. The fumble at the end of the first half, the first interception and the overthrow of a sure TD. He will uncork one of those occasionally and, unfortunately, last night was one of them.

Still a hell of a game though.

This

If you start to call a game one way, then continue the rest of the game

So many uncalled PI's and then the weak ones dilutes the integrity of the officials

The league has an officiating problem—that’s obvious. That it refuses to address it is insane. Still, what always runs through my mind is an article I read many years ago that advocated that the zebras aren’t necessarily trying to help one team or another, but instead affected by their own bias of what team should win or that they tend to assist the home team because they can be swayed by the preference of the crowd. Makes a lot of sense to me, especially since the NFL continues to employ undertrained, part-time employees to oversee this critical aspect of its games.

for sure, I'm just pointing out that Houston has never had their team go to the super bowl and even the oilers were always known for not being able to win playoff games. The way the oilers left is strange. I only know a few people that followed them to tennessee. Then I know people who basically stopped watching NFL or never followed another team. the majority are texans fans.
