There’s always 5 or 6 head coaching openings at the end of a season, but this season there have been what, 10? And I can’t remember a time when so many playoff coaches have been fired or “stepped down.” And it sounds like Matt LaFleur was almost shown the door.
Josh Allen isnt as good as Mahomes. He's a QB that scores rushing touchdowns, he's not a god. Having him on the roster doesnt mean you're owed a superbowl win.
Frankly the Bills never lost a playoff game where they had the better roster. Its miracle they even made the playoffs in 2024 with 75 million in dead cap and dogwater talent across the team. That year had "retool year" all over it, instead they somehow beat the Ravens and made it to the championship game.
The only year they had a Superbowl caliber roster was 2021, and they lost to Mahomes with prime Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.
He could pull a parcells or a bellichek and just change his mind.

I’ve always thought of Josh Allen as Brett Favre without Mike Holmgren. Definitely a superstar but capable of making the most cartoonish mistakes possible. I’m looking at Mike McDaniels as OC to take some pressure off him to do everything.
I think the horrible spot in last year's game was worse than this year. maybe I'm wrong on that, but I thought it was pretty obvious that allen got the first down and the refs just didn't want to overturn their call.

I'll take his 98-50 record over the next nine years. Wouldn't it be great to "need" to fire your HC because he's 8-8 in the playoffs over that 9 year period? And if the catch (I believe it was) was called a catch and down by contact he would be in the NFC championship game...

Yes could be but he did keep them relevant even though they had injuries/cut costs by getting rid vets

That’s my thing. The Bills have had a chance to watch the number of teams searching for head coaches over the past few weeks.. and still decide to fire their coach. Maybe they have a guy in mind already. Crazy.

I think this is media created noise that never happened. You don’t go from being almost shown the door to getting a multi year extension. “We kind of don’t like you and we don’t really have the confidence in you but yet we’re gonna give you a multi year extension anyways at the cost of millions.”
