Uff, the way they are talking about Coleman while he is still on the roster is...something. Sounds like he could be had for cheap. If so, should we go for it (as WR3 I mean)?

He's not as good as Dortch, I guess with Zay's injury we could use a 4th. I wouldnt want to trade anything more than a 5th.

I mean I haven't seen a lot of Bills games, but statwise he seems to be clearly better than Dortch.
We barely have Dortch on the field due to all the TE usage, he's a slot only guy who would get 15-60% of the snaps depending on the gameplan. When extra TEs come on the field, the slot WRs leave. He doesnt get enough routes to put up impressive stats, but he does do stuff when he's on the field. Dortch is a short, shifty guy who can generate YAC. He's not a star, he wont put up stats, but he fills a niche on any offense.

Keon was supposed to be Josh Allen's #1 WR, their X. The first half of the season he got the most routes of any of their WRs and still couldnt find a way to catch passes. Halfway through they started giving half his snaps to 3rd year UDFA Tyrell Shavers to see if Shavers was better. He was inactive on 5 gamedays while fully healthy, due to a combination of being late for meetings, and disappointment in his level of play. He's just really slow.

Some pundits have suggested that Keon would be better as a slot guy. Maybe they're right, and he could compete with Dortch for the role. Dortch isn't a worldbeater. As an X Keon is putrid.

“This one baffles me,” Arians told Pat McAfee, via JoeBucsFan.com. “How [Bills General Manager] Brandon Beane got elevated [to president of football operations] and Sean McDermott got fired, that just blows my mind because they didn’t have any damn players.

“I mean the guy’s one of the best coaches in the league and a great leader of men. He’s taken that team as close as you can get, couldn’t beat [Patrick] Mahomes. [McDermott] didn’t throw any damn interceptions. And the referees screwed him bad and he gets fired. C’mon man. And Brandon Beane gets a raise? I don’t get that one. That one blows my mind.”

strange there is no news on McDermott...the last I saw was he told his staff he plans to continue coaching... but has he even taken an interview?
